so how are guys that are under 190cm gonna get married?

By being an absolute master at something.

One of my good friends when I lived in Colorado Springs was a very very short guy. I think he was like 5'3" or something? His wife towered over him! That guy could fix anything, I'm not kidding. He can make it work. He had fixed something for me one day and did it and I said your good at fixing things, Daniel. And his wife chimed in and said, I know that's what I love about him, he can fix anything!

Remember the old saying, Jack of all Trades, Master of none...??
People believe that but it was a joke. The real quote goes: Jack of all Trades, Master of One.

That is even more important for short guys in the market for a wife.

Pick a good trade where they will still be working even if the econmy collapses. Like Repairman. So when the chips are down and they send all the game designers home without jobs...what will you do? The wife still says we are hungry even when yu are unemployed.

It might sound like survival mode sorta, but what we call survival mode today, they called day to day life 125 years ago. western days. Got a smokehouse, an outhose and a well. Oh and a Rifle!

That was my thing to say when I took the kids small game hunting, lol. When someone shot somethng and there's a rabbit or whatever, I'd say, We Eat Tonight! and it caught on within the family. So every time someone scored We Eat Tonight!

You gotta be a Short King. Emulate guys like Jose Altuve from the Houston Astro's baseball team. Also Bruce Lee was only 5 foot 7, but nobody ever remembered him as a short Man. He was larger than life.

Again though i'll say emphasize more on your fitness and getting lean. All guys look ten times better when theyre not overweight.

I think height only really gained more significance because of the internet and social media presence, so gals want a man to be tall to show him off on Instagram. It’s like that high school mentality of popularity has now blessed us to become a 24/7 365 day a year phenomenon. No wonder people are super depressed these days.
Mmmmmno. This is not accurate. Height has always been a desirable trait.

There’s an overemphasis on height for Men though when it should be on fitness and weight loss. NFL quarterback Baker Mayfield is 6 foot 1 but I remember a few years ago they had pictures of him looking fat and overweight and I thought he was a lot shorter than he actually was. Guys should strive to get as lean as possible.
According to who? I'm not interested in "lean as possible" men.

I’m just talking about dimensions in this context, Baker at the time looked very overweight and he was getting fat shamed on social media. I thought he looked shorter than he actually was because of how his weight made him look which was short and stocky.

Sure, it’s always been, it’s just that social media/internet has put a magnifying glass on it more is all.
I don't see anything on social media about how only tall men are attractive. I'm sure there are millions of other social media users who aren't obsessing over the height of men.

I'd guess there is a particular segment of the population who engages in such vapid discussions.

I'm just going by what you said. "Guys should strive to be as lean as possible." I couldn't disagree more. People - male and female - should strive to be healthy, whatever that may look like for the person.

The vapid discussions are the ones that get the most attention, and that’s just the nature of social media whether that was unintentional or by design.
Again, who's giving them attention? If we're talking about all the Gen Zers, that's not exactly a sampling of the overall population.

Sure, and in the modern era most people could stand to lose a few pounds or even more, that’s how rampant the obesity epidemic is. Lean people are not the norm, this goes for men and women.

I’m not isolating it to just Gen Z’ers, we’re in the social media age, you can’t help but notice it. I don’t even have most social media and I catch wind of whatever has gone viral from the people around me.

I don't see anything on social media about how only tall men are attractive.

They don't make it obvious.

Many women would say instead they prefer taller guys so she can wear high heels and because she looks better on high heels!;)

In entertainment and modeling where beauty is paramount (either you're beautiful or you're a comedian or extra or villain). Taller guys are preferred.

It is a kid thing but they've been saying it for a long time. Not only that but I have seen it happen many times so I tend to agree that, in general, most women would prefer a tall man. Not all women are so narrow minded though. I guess those might be the ones who don't look to social media for their education, lol. What do they call them now? Generation Z'ers or something? Lol! I feel blessed that I don't have to look to that generation for a wife!

Tom Cruise would beg to differ, lol.

Admittedly, I am not like most women, and I don't understand their thinking sometimes. Which is fine with me, I'll leave them to their odd ways and go about my business. I have no problem just putting on a dating profile that I prefer someone taller than I am. No silly faux reasons required.

My experience is that women prefer men who are taller than they are. Considering the average height of a woman (at least in America) is something like 5'4, this isn't a demand that men must be 6'5 in order to be appealing. Also, the number of couples that I see every single day where the guy is certainly not over 6' tall, reveals the reality. Social media is not reality. Thank God.

Man, that guy is my least favorite player in baseball lol. Sorry, I know this post isn't about baseball, but I saw Altuve and I gasped. As a Yankees fan, I couldn't stand him.

I’m a huge baseball fan! Mostly I like small market baseball teams like the Tampa Bay Rays and the A’s. I like using MLB as an example for short guys because there are many great MLB guys that are under 6 feet tall. The teams and fanbases I can’t stand are the SF Giants (can’t stand that city as well) followed by the Boston Red Sox and just people from Bah-stun in general.

Tom Cruise possessed other qualities that make up for his lack of height like being exceptionally talented at the craft and for being very smart.

You really have to out-do and work harder than the taller guys in order to be seen as equally attractive. That may sound fair but what if you are mediocre in other things as well? Obviously things won't play in your favor. That's why we have "involuntary celibates".

Just because one guy did means you can pull it off too. That's not how things work in the real world that's why there's poor and there's rich. It's even written in the Bible and it's not necessarily from lack of trying, laziness, nor lack of faith. Life's just not fair and even the Bible acknowledges it as well.
