One crisis averted in Russia, and thanks for your prayers. Now we have a new problem. Grandmother doesn’t want to come back. If she won’t, that would force my wife to stay with her. If anyone can offer up a prayer for us...

Update: he’s come to enough to complain about being taken home in a car; a good sign that he’s probably not at death’s door. Still, prayers appreciated. It’s stressful, and having to pay for multiple taxi rides back and forth drains what little is in my bank account there, to say nothing of vet charges and treatments.
Our cat is sick. Very sick, I’d guess there’s a fair chance he could die. He’s at our dacha, our country house with grandmother, a half an hour drive, no car, I had to order and pay for an expensive taxi long-distance. I’d like to ask for prayers for the best outcome. The cat had a hard beginning, born wild, mother and all siblings perished; it was evident that he had something wrong with him from the beginning. My older daughter, who adopted him, christened him “Theo”, though I’ve always called him “Cat” or “Stupid” because of his idiotic tendency to pee all over the place. He’s over nine years old now. He’s laying, not getting up, not eating - the bad signs. He has to be transported back to a vet in our town; my wife has been dealing with being home and not having a car.
