(I don't normally read your posts, but another poster commented about this particular reply to me, so...)
Tucker's footage doesn't really tell us this. The time stamps are missing and we have no idea from those clips if they are even in the correct order. Given the deceptive nature of Tucker's general presentation, I would not put it past him.
I have not seen a good analysis of the locations seen in those clips, yet. (I also wonder why one side of one of the clips is blurred out. Is it for security reasons, or does it give away the deception. At this point Tucker has earned the dropping of the usual "trust but verify" model for such things.)
Again, we have no reason to believe it is the case. The "Shaman Escort" clips are pretty benign and those cameras should have been in the "global discovery" for all Jan6 cases that includes things like security cameras and cop body cams excluding only those that are "sensitive". Those were not.
The claim of omission from discovery is not demonstrated. Got any proof?
As for the Jan6 Select committee - it had no responsibility to the defense of Jacob Chansley. They are not the prosecutors and were not obligated to provide it to the defense attorneys. If they want the DOJ to use the footage to prosecute the insurrectionists, then they should turn it over to the DOJ (or rather the USCP should), and it's almost certain that they did. After receiving that footage, the DOJ had an obligation to provide it to the defense, and the almost certainly did.
