That is how the Father accomplished salvation for all men (no other way) but it is not dropped on just anyone from out of the blue. It must be received and this by believing. Believing is our "response - ability". (responsibility)It is false, Salvation isnt conditioned on man believing in Jesus, but its conditioned on what Jesus did. By His One Obedience many shall be and are made righteous/Saved Rom 5:19
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
You keep denying God has commanded men to believe. You keep insisting that God tells us to do something and then proceeds to do it Himself. Why has God commanded men to believe? Because God saves believers. Does our believing save us? No! No more than anything we believe occurs simply because we believe it to be true. Does our believing negate grace? No! Because it is grace that delivers the truth, makes it known to us, enables the soul to act freely without the prison of the sin nature and when believed upon (our response), enables the reality of that truth to become one with the believer (faith). There is no salvation apart from grace and the word it brings to us. Those who prefer darkness will never believe. Those who prefer the light are drawn to Christ.
John 3:18-21
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
Your stance that our response has no bearing on our salvation or lack of it has God condemning His own choices.
