"You probably don't know..."
:D

Google "can science prove"
Here is one.
EVERY single link will say science
cannot prove anything, and explain
why.
The reasons are so basic to science
that your believing the opposite, not
even bothering to check, indicates
you aren't ready to offer any
scientific insights to others.
I'm probably just too stupid or too lazy to even bother understanding this.

My job deals with data crunching and they call it "science". But I don't really care as long as I can deliver results that leads to the right course of actions. Glad I was never asked these things or I'll be out of job!

Its a very simple concept if you care to
bother to learn how it works.

Then study away.
I will.
Better than nothing isn't it? But, you're right, it won’t reveal God. He's smarter than that.
Sure, it would be better than nothing.

If you like to think God is undetectable because he's cleverly hiding from us, that's your prerogative.

I noticed you worded that very carefully. you did not invalidate the science behind it. If you would have disagreed with it you would have been summarily attacked by this forum for most of them accept is a valid application of the principle and what is possible. That just shows you are not serious. Nice manipulations. when you want to be serious I will talk with you, but not anymore.

There really wasn't any point in discussing the technological similarities between some Star Trek technologies and some related things we can accomplish. (Transport of material object from point to point is not feasible and even close to the "teleportation" experiments being done in atomic physics.)

And this serves to prove my point. That you don’t actually absorb what a Christan says, solely because of the label they have.
Once more you assert of others what you don't and can't know. It seems quite a consistent pattern...
You clearly defined idols there. ^

(Or did you miss that point too)?

That's why I follow the one true God. (The Holy Trinity).
OK - well, most Christians I've talked to seem to understand the idea (even though they obviously don't agree with it).

Try reading my previous post again.
That was what puzzled me - you said you saw the OP's post on the 'main page' (not clear which) and responded to it. Did you not realise that clicking on the post will take you to the forum it resides in? If so, the puzzle is solved. I've used online forums similar to this for years, so I tend to assume it's obvious when it may not be.
See your previous quote.
Which one?

If you say so.
I do. Snowflakes are a popular example.

I'm not "many Christians".
Clearly not. The argument tends to be scriptural, as in, "God created the world and all that is in it for His own glory and because He desired to share His life with others", and the 'others' are we humans. The 'Fine Tuning' argument is often quoted as scientific support.

You do realize the Heisenberg compensator has been successfully developed.
The Heisenberg compensator is an essential component of transporter technology to ensure the integrity of transported matter.
The compensator counteracts effects of the applied characteristics identified in Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle. To accurately isolate matter prior to its entry into the transporter buffer, all particles must be located, their velocity observed, and tracked. The compensators allow this to happen.
The guy who can't keep a straight face explains.

Very questionable. I don't think Sun Microsystems ever built a machine of that scale, plus it doesn't really look like a Sun machine. More of the general lack of style seen in machines by Dell, IBM, and China.

Only from non-believers.

nce more you assert of others what you don't and can't know. It seems quite a consistent pattern...
Well you indicated you hadn't actually read, and absorbed (properly understood) my example of prayer and you responded with a casual assumption that didn't actually address my post... (it seems like quite a consistent pattern).

Well you're obviously unaware how the titles on the main page are opened (since you seem to think you know better) I opened this thread question from the main page and it took me directly to the post (not the sub-forum).
Go on, try it (and prove me right).

Here is the Sun Microsystems Heisenberg compensator prototype.

It failed because it used a crank.
Experts are not sure if the crank in this case was the handle or the operator.

If God had been detectable to me when I was a believer I almost certainly would still be one.
What led you to become a believer in the first place?

But you said yourself you were never a believer?

See our previous interaction:

Do you not read the past posts or do you not understand tenses?

I do not believe. (present tense)

I used to be a Christian (past tense)

Yes, you said Christian. But did you believe in the Holy Trinity? Not all Christians on this site do, even though (for those willing to see) it clearly says it in the bible. Jesus is the Son of God and he is God.
