When did Eve become evil?
When desire entered her heart (Genesis 3:6); the goal of temptation.

The objective of carnal desire is to doubt the correct path (unbelief), then to wander from the correct path (apostasy).

We find that her temptation had three stages: first, she found the fruit edible for consumption (v. 6a), second, she found it attractive in appearance (v. 6b), and finally, she found it desirable to possess (v. 6c).

Just like today -
"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world (I JOHN 2:16)

lust of the flesh:
"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." Gal 5, etc

lust of the eyes:
Includes "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's." Exo 20:17, Eph 5

pride of life: we know this one.

No matter the sin, if we confess
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I John 1:9

As believers, we need the fear of the Lord which means we hate what He hates and love what He loves (Psa 97:10, Pro 6:16-19).

"There is a fear OF the Lord which He gives us and there is a fear of the Lord where we understand His righteousness and power." HIM posted on another thread

-Churches walked in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit (Acts 9:31).

When did Eve become evil?

I find it strange that Eve has always been blamed for the fall.

If you actually read the scripture, you can see that both Adam and Eve were responsible.
And more closely, you can see how we can all fall into the same trap.

Genesis 3
The Man and Woman Sin

3 The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” (Here, the seed of doubt is planted by the enemy)

2 “Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. 3 “It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”

4 “You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. 5 “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.” (Here, the enemy waters the seed of doubt by proclaiming to Eve that God has kept valuable knowledge from them, -lied- and they can have it if they disobey his command). This is the first instance of lack of faith (trust) in the creator.

6 The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too. (Here, there is the doubt, (perceived) broken trust, and the result is a desire for control and power) the human will is born.
7 At that moment their eyes were opened, and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness. So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves. (In this verse I believe nakedness is not physical but spiritual, when they realise nothing is hidden from Gods sight, they try to hide by "covering themselves")

8 When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man[a] and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord God among the trees. 9 Then the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”

10 He replied, “I heard you walking in the garden, so I hid. I was afraid because I was naked.”

11 “Who told you that you were naked?” the Lord God asked. “Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?”

12 The man replied, “It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.” (Here, you have the first "blame-shifting" occur, Adam says to God, it's Gods fault he sinned, because HE gave him the woman, who caused him to sin).

13 Then the Lord God asked the woman, “What have you done?”

“The serpent deceived me,” she replied. “That’s why I ate it.” (Here is more blame-shifting, Eve says the serpent deceived her, so it was not her fault)

Neither Adam nor Eve admitted to disobedience of Gods command, and asked for forgiveness.
This broken trust is what set the wheels in motion for what happened after and God doesn't lie for he told them "you shall die". I believe this meant a spiritual death.

This is my current take on it, but you're free to disagree.

Sexual desire had nothing to do with the fall.

Disobedience to God's commandment not the eat the fruit if the tree was.
It was centered on Eve's pride to have the knowledge of good and evil,
and Adam accepted to follow her in disobedience to God.

The story is also allegorical and the meaning behind the fall is the message
we are given.

Do you think there’s a comparison between Lucifer and Eve? He desired power she wanted to be as a god

When did Eve become evil?
Everyone has the opportunity to choose between good and evil. Genesis is full of allegories. The Tree of life is Jesus Christ and the Tree of knowledge is the Mosaic law.
Adam and Eve represent the Hebrew people. The Eden is righteousness. The fruit of Knowledge is the desire to make oneself righteous.

By eating the fruit, Adam and Eve rejected Jesus and chose works as a way to righteousness. God kicked them out of Eden and cursed Adam to work the soil (works), which produces nothing useful.
This is what the Hebrew people did after being delivered from Egypt. They had seen the great works that God had done but rejected faith and worshiped the golden calf. They chose works, as a means of obedience, over faith as Abraham had done.

A common interpretation of Isaiah 14:12-13:
“How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star (Latin. "lucifer"), son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high'"
However, the subject of the chapter is about the fall of Babylon:
"When the Lord has given you rest from your pain and turmoil and the hard service with which you were made to serve, you will take up this taunt against the king of Babylon:"
- Isaiah 14:3-4
I don't have any thought to the correlation of the two. We know nothing of how Satan fell, if he did fall to begin with. In the accounts of the Four Gospels and the epistle of James, it is apparent that demons tremble at the voice of God. The thought to rebel, and then act on it, seems an impossible aspiration for a creature who would be fully conscious of its absurdity. So, I do not know if he fell because he wanted to be like god. If he used that lie for Eve, then he himself must not really believe it.

Daniel gives us an account and Revelation. Lucifer wanted to be God and he was kicked out of heaven and a third of the angels with him.

Eve fell to the temptation to do or become evil when Adam lied to her about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Adam lied about the tree of knowledge? The serpent (Satan) tempted Eve, and Adam was with her, they both made a decision to disobey Gods command to not eat from the tree of knowledge.

Read my scripture insertion (above) or get out your bible and really read what the passage says.

Adam was not decieved, and could not be deceived (by the serpent) because he was told the truth directly from God, but when he relayed that truth to Eve, he lied, and the serpent found an opening through that lie with Eve...

Adam saw his mistake when Eve showed up with the fruit, saw that she would already stand condemned, and chose to be or stand condemned with her, since he saw that it was kind of his fault, and he loved his wife Eve, etc...

How on earth do you get this turn of events from scripture? The scripture shows clearly that both Adam and Eve knew not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge, God told them not to and told them what would happen if they did.

The only "lie" that was told was when the serpent (Satan) lied to Eve. To say anything else occurred is adding to scripture.
See the passages below.

Genesis 2

15 The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. 16 But the Lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— 17 except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.”

Genesis 3

3 The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”

Actually it does. Read it.

God never told Adam that he couldn't touch it, etc...

Believe what you like, just make sure that it is not your own sin that wants to be so quick to automatically condemn the woman, etc...

God Bless!
