In my dream I was looking at a book. It was full of short stories and even had illustrations. I was going to bring it so I had something to do wherever I was going. It's interesting when the mind creates things for dreams like pictures or music and it seems professional but is only in your head.

Being infatuated is all well and good, and exciting until you find out she has a boyfriend/husband/fiance/is gay-- or worse-- that she's just not interested in you-- or worse-- being in limbo, trying to guess how she feels, but still holding onto hope that maybe just maybe she likes you too-- or worse-- entering into a relationship, only to get mistreated/ lied to/abused/cheated on/dumped, etc.

There are far worse things than being single. It sounds like a line but it's true.

As for how to be content? Do the things you enjoy, don't dwell on the negative thoughts, think positively, focus on you, improve yourself, take on a new hobby, learn a new skill, learn to be comfortable in your own skin, don't sweat the small stuff. Give thanks for what you have rather than grumble about what you want.

Perhaps I'm just pessimistic, but we're all very similar - there's nuance, yes, but generally, we're all pretty much the same. If you can get on with one person, chances are you'll get on just as well with the next. There was nothing 'special' about the first person.

Understand that there are as many compatible personalities as there are stars in the sky out there. So don't buy into the scarcity thing. It's an illusion.

I didn't know you made music! That's so cool!!!!
Thanks! I love your new avatar, by the way - it's so pretty! ^-^

I felt so miserable last night. Was not good.
I'm sorry you're struggling. You have my prayers. It might help to try counting your blessings, keeping busy, focusing on other things, thinking about what you have instead of what you don't have. I've been through some pretty depressing times myself so I know that isn't easy when you're feeling low. Hang in there, keep praying, and be assured of our prayers for you.

Multifavs have you seen the Sonic movie that came out a couple years ago?
I haven't seen it. I don't know a whole lot about the movie, but I'm not particularly interested in it.

Thank you. Keeping busy definitely helps (being slow today at work not helping) tho last night I was too upset to try to keep busy. Usually I'm never bored & am always doing something.

That’s no good. I thought you liked Sonic?

I do, but I'm not into the stuff from the past decade much aside from Sonic Mania. I feel that the Sonic series was better before 2010. Plus I prefer 2D animation over CGI and live-action when it comes to cartoon or video game characters, probably because it's what I grew up with.

In regards to game night: It will be mostly guys. The 1 or 2 girls there will be in relationships & will stay close to their boyfriends. The single guys will have conversations with me. The games will be fun, but I'll probably be bad at them. Overall it'll be fine but probably lead nothing in regards to relationships.
I've done game nights before. Rinse & repeat.
I'm tired of people saying 'oh you need to try game nights' or 'oh you'll meet one at work' or 'oh you'll meet one at church' or 'oh someone will introduce one to you.' Never.

BTW my counselor is having me read the end of Job where God speaks to Job. That is my favorite!

wolverine durashocks. Ever since I bought those more than 10 years ago I continuously replaced the same pair. When they are brand new they feel like Nike air shox. You can run in them. I order mine online usually on black Fridays because they are reduced in price. Usually they run $160.

I agree! It's awesome when you have movies that are theater quality productions. I just wish there was a way to capture some of these dreams and I could make money off of them or make them into a movie to share with others. Some of the music is amazing and I'm not musically inclined. So what astounds me that my brain could produce music and movies.
Your dreams sound amazing. I have had movie like dreams but normally it's a real franchise and I'm in it. It seems like in our dreams we have more potential for things like art and music than we know how to realize. Or maybe it's because our mind does everything and we don't need drawing technique or knowing all the instruments.

I do wonder if some artists are able to use dreams to unlock their creativity. Like paint things in dreams or come up with music then put it down in real life. A really good lucid dreamer might be able to remember the details perfectly. But when I try to lucid dream I get insomnia. <.<

saw my enemy also mid air with no face, sort of fuzzy, and I knew that I was to fight this person. They shot fire from their hands and blew me back a couple of rafters. In my mind I thought there's no way I can beat this person. I extended both of my hands and from the wrist the fire was much more powerful and shot the guy so that I could not see him back. I awoke with just the surging endorphins from that moment. I was amazed at what power was within me that I did not know that I had.

.... Sampa has awesome dreams. ^_^

Also, this means you definitely need to go back to Japan and audition for a starring role if they ever choose to make a modernized live-action Sailor Moon remake over there. :D

The king of biting cold sarcasm, that was Dorothy Zbornak. ..... Hence why she was my favorite among the four Golden Girls.:p

I was reading it’s a myth that Satan is on equal footing w/ God & they’re rivals. Satan is in reality a servant of God & God grants him authority than anything. This explains how he can be the prince of the world but Jesus is still the king, how bad things still work to God’s plans, & how humans still have authority of what they do. This also makes me think the idea that Satan led a rebellion against God is incorrect but it still could be true.

Signed up for a full Marathon that will be in october. More pricey than last year's and expected. Hoping my tendon heals in time for training that I will be getting in March.

I ran one full marathon in 2000 in japan. That was my first race ever and I was 27 years old. I finished it in 5 and 1/2 hours with a month and a half of training. And I had a doctor who told me not to run it and had sought off a blister from my big toe. It was grueling and difficult in March with rain. Here is an old photo that was on the front page of the newspaper from the island I lived on. Notice I'm an Amazon woman next to all these Japanese men.

I used to long-distance run. I ran a marathon too. I don’t think I’ve run any more than 20 minutes on the treadmill since! Bad me!

That's great! We'll see how everything goes. Definitely not easy. I wasn't able to run for about 7 years consistently and got back into it 2 years ago. It was gradual from walking and lots of foam rolling to work on my IT band. Have to strengthen your glutes a little bit too. 20 minutes is still good :) That's what I'm doing for the winter three times a week, but in snow and ice.

Bleh, I sleep way too much. I feel like I've just been working this week, then having dinner, then reading Bible/praying for a half hour to an hour, then watching a 20 minute TV episode, then bed time. That's a lot of sleep.
