Anglicans venerate both, and Judaism apparently. I don't know their sources, maybe pseudo-dionysius. I don't know why Catholicism does not recognize these two, but I do think it forms an interesting picture, as Michael is depicted in Catholic iconography as holding a scale in his hands with which to weigh souls, and because "mercy triumphs over judgment".
Do you follow a specific tradition?
Yes and no. I am confirmed in a christian church, but my "tradition" is to follow the leading of the Spirit and to learn as I'm equipped. I don't require man's permission. So far, it's brought me to understand that my "tradition," if it could be called that, is that of the tabernacle of David, the unified Church in Jerusalem, which has been missing for quite a while.
I said the above to another member and I thought I'd throw it out there...I may start a thread on it.
You should.
Those are layman's terms.
I love shellfish! I never fry at home. I don’t like the smell.
I'm also thinking about one on Kingship.
Educating myself about what it means to be a subject, will help me to stay focused, I believe.
Nice, I've been eating a lot of mashed potatoes and tuna lately (I'm having some now)!
Food bank I like to hit up hands out instant mashed taters!
What's on my mind? Nothing. Because it's completely blown right now.
The real "What's on your mind?" thread returns.
(I deleted some stuff, because we're currently working this out.)
I'm back for now. It's nice to see you again.
What's on your mind?

Sometimes we go through difficult times and think all is lost. We stop believing in God, and we forget how much he loves us and that everything passes. As it says in George Harrison Music All Things Must Pass. I always watch this video when I feel bad. This song makes me hope again.

What's on my mind today is aging.
I feel so old today.

I'm not a Janeite, and I enjoyed reading Jane Austen's novels. Apart from the fact that the satire is amusing, they're also an interesting snapshot of social structures and conventions at the time she was alive. They're also interesting because in some respects very little has changed. People are still marrying for love, and people are still marrying for money.I don’t know if that’s his cup of tea. Most men aren’t into her.
