The problem here is.. what "IS" considered a mob?
How can you say that?

The general thinking shortly after the event was that this was a group of people representing different motives, but that the basic intent was to confront Congresspeople and the Vice President and try to convince them to hold up on certifying the election results.
I don't know about useless - I mean, conservatives are also a minority out in the real world. Just look at the last presidential election.Polls are useless in this forum for the most part as the left and moderates so greatly outnumber those on the right that they will always show a 3-5 to 1 amount.

HOWEVER, we soon were being told by people by in and out of Congress that it was something else. Then, it became overthrow the government, kill or injure Congressmen and women, and even destroy the building! One Congresswoman said she was scared for her life as it was unfolding and barely escaped death (although she wasn't there at the time).
Not unless they’ve assembled into a mob. Individuals can’t be a mob by definition. Individual Trump supporters aren’t a mob either, that is, until they form one.And likely don't consider BLM activists a mob... correct?
Use of the term goes back much further than last year. Just a quick search using Google trends shows a big spike in its use at around Jan 2017. Now I’m wondering if it started to spread from people trying to deflect back to the previous officeholder when faced with criticism about the new president at the time. The intention of those who started using the term was to shield the listener from any comparison to the lawlessness that occurred last year in over 30 American cities.
Had they managed to postpone the election certification and overturn the results that would effectively have been the end of democracy in the United States. I thank God for the incompetence and stupidity of all involved that day.The facts speak for themselves. The doings of the intruders have been described a number of times here by people who bothered to identify actual behavior rather than rely upon sweeping generalities and exaggerations.
For goodness' sake, the facts do not show an attempt to overthrow the government or end democracy!![]()

I believe the documented facts, which have resulted in over 400 arrests so far.
Has there ever been another day where Capitol police had to arrest 400 "tourists?" SMH.
I highly doubt there was anything close to 30k people there that day.400 out of how many people? 30,000+ people? What’s that like 1.3%. Did anyone really expect 100% of a crowd that large to be law abiding? You’ll never have a crowd that large without having a few idiots in the mix. That’s just common sense.
Some estimates placed the number at over 100,000, so 30k seems entirely reasonable.I highly doubt there was anything close to 30k people there that day.
60+% of Republicans support the big lie the 800 tried to topple the government over.
Instead of embracing reality those 60% are giving tacit emotional approval of this insanity.
60% think democracy is bad. Many go home and tell their legislators to stop those liberals from voting so they will keep winning.
They were not in the trenches but they are fueling the big lie.
That's right...... lets make a mountain out of this molehill while ignoring the mountain range that the left has created blocking out the sun and causing all the grass to die beneath the darkness within. Why stop now?
But seriously, you are free to call any event in which the leader of BLM gathers up a group of people they know to be planning violence and order them to march towards the den of their (real or imagined) enemies a "BLM inspired riot."
Meanwhile, ask yourself this question: Would the January 6 riots have occurred if Donald had conceded the election back in November, and not spread increasingly ridiculous "election fraud" conspiracy fantasies?
Are they as a whole a mob or are they several small mobs? I don't think they were organized to act like a mob unlike BLM protests and if so then you cannot try or judge them all as one group. When they're breaking through doors and windows and are chasing cops up the stairs, they've become a mob.
Assembling doesn't make a group a mob it is the actions as a whole and without proof it is more likely that there were groups of people but not ONE mob. In other words I believe if this was truly organized that there would be a huge amount of success with it vs basically a little more than vandalism from what I've gleaned. Not unless they’ve assembled into a mob. No, just assembling by itself doesn’t make them a mob. Violently storming a building and demanding to take the law into their own hands is what makes them a mob.Assembling doesn't make a group a mob it is the actions as a whole and without proof it is more likely that there were groups of people but not ONE mob.
