Pentagon report reveals disturbing details about White supremacists in the ranks
A Pentagon report on extremism obtained by CNN gives disturbing insight into how White supremacists are active in the military and offers recommendations to better identify domestic extremists and prevent them from serving.

It details an instance of a former National Guardsman who is a member of a dangerous neo-Nazi group bragging about openly discussing extremist views while serving and separately describes service members describing how they recognize fellow White supremacists by their fascist tattoos and T-shirt logos.

While the report, commissioned by Congress and dated October 2020, concluded that extremist views were not widespread and identified "a low number of cases in absolute terms," it underlines the urgency of the problem because "individuals with extremist affiliations and military experience are a concern to U.S. national security because of their proven ability to execute high-impact events."

Hi :)

It has not seemed to me that very many people were committed to taking down the Capitol. Donald had supposedly at least tens of thousands of people at his speech; yet, it did not seem that even close to that many understood they were hoped to raid the Capitol.

And I think there are more than about a hundred white supremacists in the United States. But only about a hundred attackers were killed or arrested. And I think not all of them were white supremacists. And it seems some were interested in just chilling out in chairs, once they got in.

White supremacy is the same as any other ethnic supremacy. Hispanics believe the southwestern region of the U.S. rightly belongs to them, that they are the 'supreme' inhabitants. Same with Native Americans, who believe their ancestral lands are rightfully theirs. The difference is that the white supremacists are defending what they believe is being taken from them, not seeking to reclaim them.

So far. Actually it is quite a bit more than one hundred already. I don't think the FBI have completed their investigation.

It is dangerously wrong to play down what happened on January 6th. (Is this the beginning of revisionism about the attack on the Capitol?)

January 6th, the day some LARPERS went into the capital and did the same thing that's been going on across the entire country. Why is it somehow wrong just because the people ultimately at fault for all the violence suddenly got a small taste of it themselves. It's called karma. But they only got a small taste of it, lol. Hey, Portland Rioters, you could also go straight to the people you have a gripe with too, ya know. Lol.

The floor of the House of Representatives is not a waiting area for lower forms of human life like those people that stormed the Capitol.

The floor of the House of Representatives is where our politicians sell out America to the highest bidder. It might as well be the trading floor of Wall Street.

Okay, let’s amend campaign finance laws to eliminate money=power mode of politicking.

If a person is against vote fraud (and why wouldn't everyone be against fraud??)...

..this makes him a "White Supremacist?" How so?

What a crazy mixed-up world our society has become. For further details, see the documentary film Ideocracy.

No, that's the same as white supremacy.

Where did you get this idea? I searched the article and it does not discuss the election. In fact, the report was dated October 2020 before (the election).

Actually, everything is the same as white supremacy in the minds of the only people who think this is a real issue.

^_^

Agreed. Never mind the deck chairs, the ship is sinking.

Where did you get this idea?

You saw that ridiculous political cartoon, I am assuming.

It's accurate so far as it depicts a favorite theme of many on the political left, but completely incorrect if viewed as a serious reflection on recent events.

That floor isn't a lounge for Alt-right, militia gun nuts, Q's, Proud Boys, or sight-seers, either.

Yeah, the people in the South just wanted to make sure everyone was literate when they gave out literacy tests at the polls. The people changing voting laws are doing the same thing; let's forget about them researching what type of voting used by black people the most and then restricting that type of voting. It's really about voter fraud.

What were those southern democrats thinking?

An old black fellow appeared at the polling place and was handed a test that was written in Hebrew and told that if he could read it he would be allowed to vote. After staring at the test for a moment he said, "I can't make out all the words, but I know what it says." The poll worker smirked and replied, " What do you think it says?" With a sigh the old man answered, "It says that us black folks won't be voting again this year."
