It helps to make a distinction between being born again and being "saved" as in being delivered. Being born again is God's business. It is instantaneous and happens when we receive Christ as the full and sole propitiation for our sin. If there is no conviction of sin, there is no born again reality. This is why so many children of Christians turn away as they get older. They were never born again in the first place. Are you saved when you're

Some believe once saved always saved, with some scripture to suggest this. Some believe they can lose salvation, with some scripture to suggests this. I do not wish to argue, debate over this, just your thoughts on the above question, whichever side you're on.
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him
We no longer look to be served. We look to serve and give our lives for others. No longer fight for privilege, influence and status. We esteem others better than ourselves and put their interests above our own.
Peace be with all those in the body of Christ
and where is that found today ?
Not so. I entered heaven the moment I was born again. I'm seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus - right now. We need to make God's word the absolute authority in our lives.Statistically, it would be rare for a person to abandon their religion in their later years.
oh I see all others are heretical, thanks for you "opinion"It’s the Eastern Orthodox Church. That’s the apostolic Church of God.
And all of Gods children said , Amen !Not so. I entered heaven the moment I was born again. I'm seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus - right now. We need to make God's word the absolute authority in our lives.
Is this the easy path to salvation?
Joel 2:32
And it will come about that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Will be saved.
Acts 2:21
And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Romans 10:13
For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
The parable of the sower is still valid of course. Therefore, the calling on the name of the Lord, must be lifelong!
The point I think I am truly saved is the moment Jesus Christ rescues me from hell and I just pray that He has heard my prayers, can see my heart, knows my repentance and can feel my love for Him for that to happen. I am not worthy of heaven- I realize this as I have made some big mistakes and done some pretty bad things but I have tried to make amends with those things and better myself as much as I can. I used to be quite popular with the wrong " earthly" crowd which I have abandoned and have sort of " quit" the world, and battle depression but have overcome a lot and just keep trying. Are you saved when you're

Wow. Such "faith", huh.Yes actually I do have more questions. How do you know Peter and Paul actually wrote these epistles? I mean there was the infancy gospel of James and the gospel of Thomas that were not deemed as being authentic. So how do you know that these weren’t forgeries as well?
Once you believe, which is not one of your choices. Blessings. Are you saved when you're

Well that's what Paul said; but who listens to him?The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10:8-10
Two things....
1. Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ
2. Believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead
And... You are saved! And then time to dive into all the complicated doctrine the Gentiles have introduced to Christianity since!
Hello ChristServant, I believe that we are saved from the moment that we first hear and believe, from the moment that we come to saving faith in Jesus and are justified (declared just) by God. As the Lord Jesus tells us,At What Point Do You Think You Are Truly Saved?
There is NO "Visible CHurch System" that bears much resemblance at all to the "Apostolic Church" which was already starting to fragment and denominationalize in Paul's time. The church the apostles established.
I would still say that as long as we are abiding in Christ our salvation remains. If we are reconciled we are currently saved. Just because we have been reconciled doesn’t mean we can’t be at enmity with God afterwards. If you punch me in the face then apologize I can forgive you but it doesn’t mean you can punch me in the face again and your still forgiven.
