I believe in keeping the Ten Commandments.
Also the Orthodox Priest did not answer my email today.
I don’t think this is a good fit for me.
I will probably attend the Messianic Church instead. Even though I disagree with them on Annihilation they may be a better fit for me as a sabbath keeper.
I do really like the music on Ancient Faith Radio.
But I don’t think we are on the same page on our beliefs.
May I ask a few simple questions?
Why must the Church agree with your position? Surely the Church being around much longer than us knows better and we may not have it right just because we think something we like is right? If a Church that has been around so long is wrong because we think it is wrong, is anything right? Can anything be trusted?
Do we require Christ to bend to or beliefs or are we willing to get rid of our beliefs and follow Christ?
If you're basing your choice on a message board I imagine nowhere will be a fit. How often have you switched churches?
I wouldn't judge the entire Church on the speediness of one priest, or the answers on a message board. Orthodoxy is an experience! I bet if you went to a service you'd have questions answered for you without even asking anyone.I’ve been at the same church for the last 9 years.
I may still try an Orthodox service but it is discouraging that the Priest isn’t answering my emails.
Have you been to an Orthodox church or service? What was your experience of it?
(Forgive me if you've already answered this but this thread is getting long & I may have missed it)
ETA: You posted an answer just as I posted this question.

This whole thread smacks of "debate an Orthodox" and would be better served in St. Justin's.
Does he offer catechumen/inquirer classes? Maybe he hasn't answered yet because he would rather have a proper conversation. If he offers classes, it would give you a chance to ask your question plus others if you have them, and you might be able to time it with a service too (my parish has classes before Vespers).Well I may try attending but if the Priest doesn’t answer my questions then that is a problem. I sent him an email asking about being rebaptized and if he refuses to answer then that is a problem for me.
Age doesn’t indicate correctness.
The Roman Catholic Church makes this same claim and their church is rife with false doctrine.
Joe Biden is old and he’s wrong all the time.

How do you know? Because you say so? I know there is a huge disagreement between the Orthodox and Catholic but it wasn't one person who decided that because they got the Bible, it was a number of things.
Thing is where does any Church have to come down to our will and what is the judge of that.
You can say that again.
I am sorry if I was debating. It is just interesting how so willful people are
We’re in the Nativity Fasting period, and with all fasting periods, there is an increase of services in the temple atop an already heavily laden liturgical year. Especially, that today is Wednesday.
Have you tried just attending on a Sunday and catching the priest afterwards?
