Even with the hour extra in bed, I even managed to miss brekkie! Oh well, I'm definitely making it up at lunchtime. Haddock fillets with cauliflower and brocolli, tripe cooked chips doused with Lea and Perrins sauce! Followed by fruits of the forest strudel and ice cream!

Haha, you gave me a good laugh this morning. It was delicious. I learned the recipe during one of my Daniel fast, called "yukon bake".

I tried doing something like that myself this morning with some leftover vegetables from my most recent delivery from HelloFresh ... it tasted okay, but didn't look nearly as presentable and appetizing as your creation above does.


... And come on, neko girls are the best; it's difficult to avoid giving at least some attention to your avatar, there. ^-^

Aww. This isn't the actual recipe but basically, I cut up potatoes into cubes and sweet potatoes into cubes. Put them in aluminum foil on a tray with olive oil salt and pepper. in the oven for 45 minutes. the brussel sprouts basically is cut in halves on a cookie tray with aluminum foil. Put olive oil over that also with salt and pepper in the oven for 25 minutes. I think 360 to 370 temperature might be good. Just keep checking and maybe turn over the potatoes one time.

The beautiful village of Walsingham, in the East of England. Known as "England's Nazareth", it is an important place of pilgrimage. I was meant to be going with my church this year on pilgrimage there, but with all the restrictions, I might have to go another year!

Just a few miles from home, the remains of the Roman settlement of Letocetum which was established in the year 50AD. The site has some interesting finds including the remains of a stone bath house.
