Where I live is predominantly flat, but half an hour from home is an iron age hill fort known as The Wrekin. It takes about an hour to walk to the summit where the views are similar to flying in a plane.

I live in an area that is similar except, it looks like the height from this hill is much higher. Than the hills in the area were i live, well actually i live in the flat part but the hills to the east of me.

The renowned Christian novelist, George Borrow, described Norwich as a "fine city" and a fine place it certainly is. One of the most complete medieval cities in England, within its city walls there is reputedly a pub for every day of the year and a church for every week of the year!
My most treasured memories of the city are visiting Accident & Emergency after breaking my wrist falling on ice. They mended my wrist and some years later I was able to take part in the Norwich Music Festival as an organist! The city was once the home of one of my favourite Christian Saints, Julian of Norwich, an anchorite, who lived there in the 14th century. Loved by the theologians of her time, she is well known for the revelations she received regarding the passion of Christ: so touching and so incredibly profound. Her writings have inspired and comforted me like no other. She is today, quite possibly, my favourite Christian author.

Just down the road from me in Dudley is the Black Country Living Museum. It is an open air museum with a completely reconstructed town from a bygone age. I love to go there from time to time, to eat fish and chips in beef dripping served in newspaper, to visit the silent movie cinema to watch Charlie Chaplin, to have a lesson at school using chalk and slate and being told off by the teacher for misbehaving! When friends come to visit me, I always take them there and we always have a good time!

And next to the museum is the Castle which is home to the impressive zoological gardens.
