Did you really like the N64 controller?

Not particularly. And it's been sort of a pain to find some that actually held up over the years without defecting too. I bought a N64 and had to go thru at least 3 before I found some that still work properly.

I remember the *one* analog stick being pretty cheap.

What do you consider your favorite controller? For me I might have to go with the Gamecube controller.. I loved the button layout. I'd modify it for sure, but it was comfortable.

The Sims is great if you enjoy controlling people. *lol

LOl.. although I had a horrible experience playing the Gamecube Sims. My characters kept on wetting themselves and crying on the floor. Lol.

We have a version of GTA here and lots of shooter and sports games. I liked the theme songs for Hitman and Big Mutha Truckers.

I know there are a lot of GTA knockoffs on the app store, lol.

Yeah it's not a bad controller.. although I always liked the analog buttons not being horizontally aligned with each other but crossed.

The original Xbox controller was awful.. although maybe that's because I don't have manly hands.. lol.

Same here. Lol
I don't work good with my hands at all. When it comes to working tools and things like that, I'm terrible. I'm more of an artsy person.

... Actually, I don't really know anything about this upcoming generation of consoles. I'll always be a console gamer at heart, but, just haven't been able to keep up with them since 2010 or so.

You mainly PC game now?

As far as this new generation.. I think the upgrade to solid state drives from mechanical drives is the biggest thing.

Faster loading times, faster assets in games, more of a seamless exprience.

Just as it's more convenient overall to get new games on Steam (financially, anyway), yeah.

But, yeah, still prefer a controller to the keyboard and mouse any day. And I often go back to older consoles like the trusty ol' PS2 to play old games that have been in my possession since I was a kid.

I believe Xbox controllers work for PC.

I used to PC game a lot, but consoles are just more coinvent for me also Sony has a lot of great exclusives. Plus with a PS now subscription you can play PlayStation games on the PC. Console gaming is pretty affordable now too.

We have the console versions. She traded games and snuck a few in.

I am normally very averse to playing games where I shoot a bunch of other human beings, but, so long as I limited myself to not using any heavy artillery that would literally blow them to pieces (like in Return to Castle Wolfenstein), I made an exception with the Nazi's in Wolfenstein (the very first one, that is). Also something that made me feel better about playing this game was the fact that even the lowest-ranked Nazi soldiers could be more than a match for you if you don't stay sharp; they aren't just lowly henchman who can never shoot straight and fall by the hundreds in actions movies. You move around a corner without thinking and even the most common enemy in the game will plug you right in the face as fast as any Western gunslinger, and take off as much as 60% of your health in one shot. ... It's also kind of funny the way they sometimes go "aieeee!" when spiraling over from a fatal wound, like the voice actor for them is really trying to overact.

Glad to see you're taking all this in stride from me, Miss Bella. Admittedly this is me feeling saucy today when it comes to teasing the opposite gender in some way or another. You can imagine I don't work up the nerve to do it often. Especially with my crush; she's pretty relentless with teasing me, but, of course I can only heap praise and flattery upon her in return.
