Yes, I indeed choose Jesus, also. Hence what I'm explaining. Billions claim the exact same thing... It's all in love.

It would be best if you knew the mysteries of God that were prophesied of the New Covenant, but if you truly believe you are honoring Christ by keeping the day of the week, then God will accept your gift.

Fair enough. It's a blessing for everyone. It's also for our benefit as well as his. Just like the other Commandments.

Wow blatantly ignore scripture and say it doesn't matter? I understand now. Then claim the resurrection somehow which is not related to when the covenant started. It's not when the covenant came into force, it's the blood symbolism because it's exactly how it was done with Moses and his people. We all agree the resurrection is very important also, but so is the cross.

Same as:
Exodus 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient. 8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.
That is the shadow covenant sealed with blood, the old covenant, the old testament.

The new covenant did not involve the book of the covenant, the book of the law. The new covenant was a divine covenant and sealed with the Son's blood.

The old covenant was the shadow covenant pointing to the new covenant.

Hebrews 7:12
For when the priesthood is changed, of necessity there takes place a change of law also.

Yes the ministry changed, not the commandments. How it is ministered has changed from Moses to Christ Jesus. Even the LEB bible give it the title:
The ministry of death was the ten commandments. The ten couldn't give life, all they could do is condemn. Jesus and the Spirit gives life. The ten commandments were replaced with the Holy Spirit 2Cor 3:6-11.

It was to remember both. Please stop with false statements.
Exodus 20:11 IS QUOTING GENESIS. Are you deliberately ignoring this Bob?

Exodus 20:11 "For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Genesis 2:3 "Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made."
Nonsense Andre, Your post has not proven that my post was wrong. The verses you provided had nothing to do with "remember". The Exodus account pointed to keeping the Sabbath and the sentence ended with a period. The Deuteronomy account was a definitely a command for Israel to commemorate the Sabbath in remembrance of being released from slavery.

You keep accusing me of making false statements. I have been reading your posts and the more you write the more I am convinced you need to study up before making these accusations.

That's not true Luke says after the new covenant confirmed "THEY RESTED ACCORDING TO THE COMMANDMENT". Luke wrote this decades later and still kept it as THE COMMANDMENT.
Nonsense Andre, What Luke wrote does not prove the laws of the old covenant were not fulfilled. The church had not yet been established nor was anything Jesus accomplished on the Cross analyzed by the disciples or any of Jesus followers. It took Jesus teaching Paul and the Holy Spirit guiding the followers to the truths of the beautiful new covenant. You should know that. Did you know everything about Christianity when you accepted the faith? I am still learning.

Not according to Luke which he was aware of what you are saying as he was good friends with Paul.

Luke 23:56 calls the Sabbath a commandment.
Keep changing the words of the bible won't change God's word and facts. The MINISTRY CHANGED. JUST LIKE THE PRIESTHOOD CHANGED.

You are the one calling it the old covenant. Not Luke though, he's calling it the commandment which was after the New Covenant confirmed in blood at the cross. Which he wrote about decades later with plenty of time to know if it was a commandment or not.

Yet you deny that the Sabbath is not about creation also, WHEN GOD QUOTED GENESIS. Hence why someone can come to that conclusion of making a false statement, when it's directly quoted in the verse as to what the Sabbath is yet you say it isn't. It's to imitate what God did and which God you are worshiping, because there's only one true God that made everything in 7 days.

Luke 1: 1 Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, 2 just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word. 3 With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, 4 so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.

Interesting. So an important sign was completely removed yet all the other 9 commandments had no sign and was kept. Usually when you give someone a sign it's pretty important, you'd think you would not get rid of it. But somehow you claim it's getting rid of it. You are trying so hard to find a reason... And now somehow the cup is this sign? Never heard of this...

Also we are part of Israel now spiritually, correct?

No, none of them were "kept," but replaced with more thorough commandments, where love replaced them all, and revealed the acknowledgment that Jesus is God.

Do you believe Jesus is God?

Again, you write something that is not correct Andre. God made everything is six days and ended creation. On the day after His creation He rested and made that day Holy. There is no indication that He made succeeding days Holy. There is no indication that Adam and Eve rested with God. The Sabbath was revealed to the Israelites in the 16th chapter of Exodus and not until then do we have any history of God nor His children observing the seventh day. You cannot argue some point that you cannot back up with scripture. If you are taking your cue from the writings of Ellen White ( I am not writing that you are, but she certainly did write what you claim.) you are being taught things that cannot be proven with scripture.

Of course. Except you change the commandments yourself and believe "love" is your way out of obeying God. Yet we obey from his spirit of love, loving God and loving others. A homosexual believes that they "love" also. I'm sure Hitler thought he was loving by puritying his "race". Many people claim love, but only God defines what true love is towards him and towards others. Hence why the Ten were on two tablets, hence why he summarized them by the two great commandments of love God and love your neighbour. All these details constantly reflect each other. God could have written the commandments on 1, 3, 10 tablets. Yet he chose 2 and grouped loving God and loving man, and Jesus said 2 greatest commandments existed, what are the odds.

Adams and Eve didn't rest with God is your assumption. Where they working hard? They weren't relaxing and in paradise with God?

Sanctified means for sacred religious use. Are you saying God did that for himself only and waited ~2000 years to use it? Yet Mark states that the Sabbath was MADE FOR MAN, hence why it was made AFTER MAN.

More gibberish. If the Sabbath was made for all men why wasn't it revealed to all the nations. It was given to one nation. Another thought, it may have been made for all men, but no one ever commanded or suggested men to observe it except for one nation. Doesn't sound like it was first on God's agenda now does it? Wonder why it is first on the agenda of SDAs?

Yes eye witness account indeed. They witnessed the new covenant and then called it a commandment. People try hard to discredit the direct words of what happened.

It was already revealed to man from the beginning. Everything had to be retold over and over because man wants to disobey and do their own thing. Why did God judge the earth with a flood and saved only a few that obeyed his voice? Why did God say Abraham obeyed his commandments, etc. The point of Israel is to show the difference between him and all other nations. I'm sure he's done many things with man prior as well that simply wasn't given a full account of. Do we need to have even more repetitions? Abel knew to bring the firstborn of his flock. Did he just have a lucky guess and then Cain guessed incorrectly and was punished for it?

Oh so all nations were free to kill, steal, commit adultery. There's your logic once again.

Yes he did sumerize them correctly. You deny this fact.

People worship other gods because they hate the true one. Easy to show the simplicity of the commandments, which is the same for the other ones...
