The hearings were boring and complicated.”
It's like watching a sports contest. When it is obvious your team is going to lose, when they aren't scoring any points, not doing anything that you can be proud of, you tend to think the game drags on and is boring.

But for fans of the winning side, the game is exciting, full of points, full of interesting moments.

I can see why die hard Republican supporters think these exciting and interesting hearings were boring.

LOL ... It just doesn't have the same appeal as flaming red though.

True, but most of my co-workers are Trumpers, so I wouldn't stand out much. However I need to take the message to the woods...for the deer, you know. ^_^

Also, if I wore it in my liberal city they would find it in a dumpster somewhere...with my head still in it.

That said I always wear my camo cap when I vote, leaving no doubt who I will be voting for. :D

By blocking Bolton, Giuliani, Pompeo, Mulvaney from testifying.

Donald Trump blocked people from testifying after Democrats supboenaed them. Why do people think the Democrats, not Trump, prevented them from testifying when all signs point the other way?

While I seriously doubt that the Senate with a Republican majority will vote to impeach you have apparently been watching a different House investigation than I have. If this investigation resulted in an actual trial rather than a political event I believe that there would be a good possibility that President Trump would lose.

Of course the Senate will not impeach him - because that is the HR's job. Duh.

It will result in an actual trial for sure. No way can fewer than 218 representatives say yea. And it is not a political event, but obeying the Constitution.

Gordon Sondland

--is not a deep state bureaucrat, he is a Trump political appointment.
--is not a "Never Trumper"; he was a major donor to Trump's campaign.
--is not a disloyal subordinate; he followed the President's instructions
--is not testifying to hearsay; he had direct knowledge of everything that he testified about
--is not an anonymous whistleblower; he showed up in person
--is not an imaginary Twitter cow; they screen for such things in the Foreign Service.
--is not taking swipes in social media; he is testifying under oath.

There is no way to dismiss this testimony. It can only be rebutted by somebody else testifying under oath, which the White House has refused to allow.

If we were a functioning democracy, it would all be over today.

Are we watching the same game?

Yes, all the tax money spent.

And time. House Representatives had so much business to do to make America better before July 25. That is all put on hold, thanks to nobody but the President.

Here I thought they were just figuring out new ways to enrich themselves. (Not my rep however. He was rich before he went to Washington.)
