1) that i have to sin to qualify for the sinner’s prayer?
2) that the devil is the small god of this world? then who is god and who isn’t? i’m confused ><
3) that because the devil is the small god of this world i have to make him god and live under him and live like this world to be blessed?
4) that God is only in my imagination?
5) that i have to live like this world so that i can understand others in order to help and save them?

i have been having these thoughts for a long time and i really need help in deciphering if these are true... i can somehow sense that these are wrong but i need people to correct me on these thoughts upfront :/

1. We are ALL sinners, so no particular sin needs done to pray the sinner's prayer.

2. The devil wants us to THINK he is the "god" of this world. YHVH is still Sovereign.

3. You should not regard the devil as a "god" nor live under him.

4. God, the real God is very real, more real than "reality."

5. You are called to be in this world, but not OF it. Jesus gives you your marching orders.

6. Bring your thoughts into line with God's Word.

1. No such thing as "sinner's prayer" in the Bible, therefore, the prayer itself is unBiblical.

2. The true God is "outside" of our Universe. The devil is indeed god of this world (1 John 5:19, John 15:19, Matthew 4:8, Luke 6:20-26)

3. Ironically, the answer is YES if looking for material blessings

4. Ony for the astute observer

5. Been there. Didn't save a single soul. Worse, trying to live like the world led me astray, away from the Lord. Saw many Christians in such "place", also deceived... Don't go this road. Your soul would be in great peril.

Huh.

1) I think you probably have to be *convicted* of sin to qualify for the sinner's prayer. Say, a thief robs a store. He says the sinner's prayer, then goes about his life of thievery. Never wanted anything to be changed. So nothing ever is. Another thief robs a store. Afterwards, God convicts his soul. He realizes "I've become nothing but a thief. I know no other way to make a living but to steal from others - God help me - help me to be something different". This is maybe not a great example, but it is a conviction that our heart and the actions that proceed and have proceeded from them are wrong, and they will be until God changes the heart and we WANT Him to change the heart. I think that God is faithful to deliver us from whatever sin we want him to, but he will not take from us what we choose to hold on to.

2) and 3) It depends. Most of the principals of the world do not operate under the principals of Christ. You could proceed and operate under Greed and Selfishness and Materialism and many other things and 'be blessed' by the world. But the world can only bless temporarily. 'store up treasures for yourself in heaven,' Christ said. And 'be rich towards God.' Because, frankly, at the end we are all mortal. Your body, your eyes, your bank account, they will all be gone. What is the One Thing that will be left? Your relationship with God.

So what happens if someone spends their life ignoring Him and acting as his enemy? And not receiving his offers of forgiveness and call to repentance? Then, that One Thing you've got left, is not a Good Thing....

Christ referred to the devil I think as 'the God of this world' and also as 'the father of lies'. I'm not sure how to answer the 'small God'

4) and 5) Think of it like this. People are kind of like conductors. In the same way that a copper wire conducts electricity. If there are a lot of impurities in the copper wire, it won't conduct electricity very well. You are going to conduct something. In fact you HAVE been conducting something, whether you realize it or not. If you want to conduct Good, Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Luke 11:11-13

11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Your life is your chance not only to save yourself from destruction but also to bring something Good into the world.

Don't worry. If you are human, you are a sinner.

2) that the devil is the small god of this world? then who is god and who isn’t? i’m confused
It's only a characterization, because of his evil power. It's not a claim that he literally is a god.

4) that God is only in my imagination?
Why would you think that?

5) that i have to live like this world so that i can understand others in order to help and save them?
If 'living like this world' means living according to the standards of society rather than the standards of GOD, then No.

Satan is "god of the world and prince of the power of the air." I think it's ironic that atheists refer to God in the lower case. Are they paying homage to Satan inadvertently?

The other thing I recently discovered had to do with where Satan and his demons live and that is in the air or in outer space. Not where they live, but discovering the manifestations of where they reside.

Creation scientists believe that it is demons doing this trick. Of course, Satan and his demons want to hide so it's something they will keep to themselves. Some of the secular/atheist scientists want to change the acronym from UFO to UAP as in unidentified aerial phenomena. They think UFOs have a stigma attached to them. Even trained pilots, i.e. trained observers, are witnessing these UFOs or UAPs, so there definitely is some real phenomena up there.

Yet, we know that these phenomena will remain unidentified. Thus, there is no point making our theories known. There really isn't any evidence, but for what these pilots witnessed. People will continue to believe what they want from UFO/UAPs. I think even if they track and study these phenomena, they'll remain unidentified. They won't land and abduct people. That's just stuff that humans make up from these sightings imho.

UFO/UAP sightings are a spiritual thing, as are abductions. So-called aliens are demons, and they do NOT glorify God or Jesus.

1) that i have to sin to qualify for the sinner’s prayer?
No. Everyone is born of the flesh , and whatever is born of the flesh is flesh, and profits nothing.

2) that the devil is the small god of this world? then who is god and who isn’t? i’m confused ><
Yahuweh Sovereign Creator calls him the prince of the power of the air, and all people according to Ephesians 2 are subject to the prince of the power of the air, as sons of disobedience, until (and if) they are saved and born again.

3) that because the devil is the small god of this world i have to make him god and live under him and live like this world to be blessed?
No one makes the devil anything. He is just as Yahuweh Sovereign Creator says.
Those who "live like this world" are indeed loved by the world ("the world loves its own" Bible),
but cursed, not blessed.

4) that God is only in my imagination?
For some people this might seem true.

5) that i have to live like this world so that i can understand others in order to help and save them?
Understanding can only be granted by the Father Yahuweh from Heaven - not by this world.

1) that i have to sin to qualify for the sinner’s prayer?

Most Christians don't believe in the "sinner's prayer", it's a modern practice only in a very small number of denominations.

The reality is that you, me, and everyone is a sinner--that's a universal truth about all human beings. God, in His mercy, loves us, and saves us. It is through Christ's redemptive work, His life, death, and resurrection which has accomplished for you your salvation. The work is done and finished. Through faith in Christ we have received the full benefit of Christ's work--our sins are forgiven, we share in His life, and His victory over sin, death, hell, and the devil. And so we have hope that on the last day, when Christ returns, God will raise us from the dead even as He raised Christ from the dead; and we shall have life everlasting in the Age to Come.

2) that the devil is the small god of this world? then who is god and who isn’t? i’m confused ><

There is a passage in Scripture which says,

"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." - 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

It is generally understood that "the god of this world" is a reference to the devil. However, the devil is not a god, not a small god, not any kind of god. Also something else that's important here is that what is translated as "world" here is better translated as "age". The use of "world" here as a translation is archaic, and so can be confusing if one doesn't know the original Greek or the history of the English word "world". What St. Paul is saying here is, in essence, that those who follow the current order of things have, in a sense deified the devil. Not that the devil is a god, but he is like a god to those who--unwittingly--stand in opposition to God's work through the Gospel.

The devil is no more a god than my shoe. That's important to remember.

3) that because the devil is the small god of this world i have to make him god and live under him and live like this world to be blessed?

What? No. Absolutely not. The devil is defeated, tread under foot, beaten by Christ. The devil may roar like a lion, but he's ultimately toothless. "Resist the devil and he will flee" is what Scripture says. Because you are in Christ you don't live under the devil, you live under the Lordship of Jesus Christ who frees you from such bondage.

4) that God is only in my imagination?

God exists in reality. We can know Him through Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh.

5) that i have to live like this world so that i can understand others in order to help and save them?

We can't save anyone, not in the sense of salvation--only God can (and has) done this. And, no, we don't have to live like this world in order to help people. By loving others, by treating others with kindness, compassion, respect, gentleness, mercy, etc we are being a people of God toward our neighbors--and this is most definitely not of the world. The world says to hate others, Christ says to love others. The world says to use violence, Christ says to turn the other cheek. The world says to seek only yourself, Christ says to seek first the kingdom of God.

My question to all of this is, do you have a church? Do you have a pastor you can speak to?

UFO/UAP sightings are a spiritual thing, as are abductions. So-called aliens are demons, and they do NOT glorify God or Jesus.

Oh, is it the glory of God or Jesus what the OP is asking question #3 about? God was written in lower case, so that means Satan according to Scripture. You don't want to make Satan ruler of your life. One has to recognize that he's the father of lies and master of trickery and deceit. He tempts you into sin, so it's best to avoid the temptations.

So far, all we have evidence for are trained observer sightings of UFO/UAP which appeared in the video. To creationists, it's pretty good evidence of demons. There are no trained observer sighting of aliens nor abductions. I don't think God made any aliens or else he would've told us.

Yes, these UFO/UAP are caused by demons, but there is no point in pointing this out as they will remain unidentified. Thus, let the investigators do their work and see what findings they make. AFAIK, it's only the trained observer sightings and evidence that goes along with it that count with the people in charge. I suppose a regular person would have to have some hard evidence such as hand or footprint or photo/video for them to take your report seriously. That's what these pilots have plus video, and observation report. That sounds credible to me.
