Could it be that Judas was anti-Christ? The Lord said Judas is "the Son of Perdition, not a son of perdition. Anti-Christ has a head wound which Judas also has. could this be the head wound he supposedly recovers from in a counterfeit of the Resurrection? Also I wonder about the number 666 it is the number of man. Anti-Christ is a triune being and it appears that each of them will be a man, 6 Satan in the form of a man, son of Satan anti-Chtist in the form of a man and the false prophet also in the form of a man, 666. We are shown angels coming as men a number of times in Scripture, Angels, even fallen angels are made in the Image of the Lord just as men also are in His Image, the Image of the Lord Jesus.
if judas was anti-Christ was given the Sop at the PASSOVER? The Lord's wats truly are not our ways He is pure Love while we vacillate between some and none for the most part concerning our enemies and those we don't like. What a God!!!
Judas was a type of anti-Christ.
He represents everyone who says if you know Jesus you will always accept him. I have discussed Jesus and his gospel with many who know Gods word, in detail and all the theology one can grasp, yet will condemn followers of Jesus and who have true faith in Him unto salvation as heretics and leading people to hell. It is the state of our hearts that determines our destination not our knowledge or even claim to have faith. John put it simply
20 If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.
1 John 4
Without a purified cleansed heart no one will see God. Jesus put it simply
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Matt 5
Without a pure heart one will never see God. Seeing is seeing Gods face, because without purity one will die.
20 "you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live."
Exodus 33
9 Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father
John 14
Judas had never truly seen Jesus, His heart, and had never been purified. Jesus described this in terms of cleansing.
10 "And you are clean, though not every one of you."
11 For he knew who was going to betray him, and that was why he said not every one was clean.
John 13
Judas demonstrates being born again is a heart issue, and without a changed and purified heart everything is just about power, position and political revolution.
