I see. I've only worked at one place where my co-workers were totally women. Made for some uncomfortable moments but was a good experience all in all.

My woodworking instructor wanted me to look at a couple of things in person for one of the pieces I’m making. Ikea is huge. You don’t a hammer. Just a cordless screwdriver for most projects.

Good morning. Do you mean the dollhouse pictures? They're beautiful pieces indeed. Are your plans to open up a retail shop with your works or what?

No, the sewing cart is earlier than that. I don’t plan to open a shop. The decor dollhouse is a tribute to my grandfather. He taught himself woodworking, carpentry, and home repair through a series produced by Time Life Books. It was an extensive series. He could sew too.

This is a labor of love much like my dollhouse was one for him. Dollhouses are fragile and can break. They need a stable surface and a lot of room. Most are rarely moved. You need to be in a permeant place if you want one.

When I’m done with my studies I’ll have something built alone these lines with electrical wiring and design a playhouse when my daughter has children. I’ll begin collecting dolls once more. The scale of the decor project will probably mimic the image with a child.

That’s for me! My daughter will inherit my house and dolls.

This is a playhouse. They’re meant to be kept outdoors. I’ll design the structure and the interior. There are perks to having a grandmother with those skills. ~lol

It reminds of miniature models that movie production companies use. Not sure if they still implement them now with the advancements of CGI, but they're very cool nonetheless. How long would you say it takes you to build an average sized house from start to finish? That's amazing.

My instructor said that kits have a lot of pieces! My grandfather did a lot of customizations. It didn’t take him long because of his experience. He was building a house but the doors were my height and my grandmother felt it was too large. For most, a completed or quick build kit would be best. You can see examples here.

If you built this from scratch from top to finish the time is based on whether you’re designing the piece (as I plan to), hiring someone, or using a kit.

Dollhouses are mini homes. They’re heirloom pieces and that’s the best way to approach the project. This could easily take six months or more if you’re learning. Or you could purchase a kit and get a DIY person to put it together. It depends on your time frame and purse.

Construction is phase one. You have to paint and furnish it too. The latter is often more expensive (in the long run) than the house! Miniature furniture and furnishings don’t come cheap.

so far I don't think he fairly compares the major religions and he certainly does not see the potential unity, but that is typical of your average religious person. I enjoy the stories and quotes he gives and it's a smooth and easy read. even though I don't enjoy his prejudices I still find enough in this work of his to want to read it all the way through.

apparently it was originally published in 1990, kind of makes me want to know if he has at all changed or developed since then but sadly I don't have the luxury to find out. I know I have changed a lot since I first encountered Ravi in my early Christian years.
