There's "fulfilling prophecy" and than there's "self fulfilling prophecy"! If you go back and study the history of Zionism. This "prophecy" certainly had a lot of political help; most of which is based on lies.

Now (in comparison) go back and study the Scriptural account of the return from Babylonian captivity; (and its outcome, ultimately being in the coming Messiah). There's quite a difference!

I agree with you on this point: the political powers that be are trying to force the issue; and I know the Temple Institute is trying to resurrect the temple. There is a coin that was minted that has both Cyrus and Trump on it. (And it's suppose to be the temple tax coin! Now if that don't "scare" you as a dispensationalist; it should!)

There's an interesting book called "Secrets of Golgotha" by Ernst Martin (and I don't agree with every thing he says) but I think he's dead on about where the temple actually was and where Jesus was crucified.

He was crucified on the Mt. of Olives. We know this because the Scriptures state that the Roman centurion and the soldiers witnessed the veil of the temple being torn, and they could only do this if they were facing it. The temple faced east, so they had to be east of it, facing west; which would have put them on the Mount of Olives, somewhere in the vicinity of the red heifer bridge.

There is a much stronger case that the current Israel is not the one prophesied to live in the holy Land, unprotected and relying on the Lord for protection.
The citizens of the Jewish State of Israel, are a mixed race group, who just claim to be Jews, without any proof whatsoever. They don't rely on the Lord, but just on their own strength for their defense.
They have not received the Blessings promised in Ezekiel 39 or Isaiah 66:7-14.

HI I am fully aware of the Rothchild's involvement in modern day Israel.
