Please see my previous post. Again, evidence not "gut-feelings" or even common-sense is what matters. The only actual hard evidence I have read about suggest that people more or less retain their values over time. And the fact is that the younger, more ethnically diverse demographic is more liberal than older people.

So I think there is reason to be hopeful.

Yes I think that the young ones will save us. It's just that what we're seeing now in politics, I feel that politics today all over the world has taken a hard right turn...

How does anyone actually know what his actual approval rating might be? There are over 200 million in the US. How many of these 200+ million have participated in any of these polls? I know I haven't. You surely are correct about that. He's certainly lacked a cool head using reason & discretion on what he posts. More like he's perpetually been a hothead who gets ignited extremely easily & just lets every thought explode out of him. We're not going to see his words ever seasoned with salt and grace. He's in his 70s but requires minders the way that responsible parents still monitor the activity of their middle schoolers when they're allowed to get their 1st social media accounts.

Even if he had a Twitter babysitter he still would relish sowing up discord at rallies, at every opportunity to rile up his base. We need to respond to it as Christians ought to, calling it out as unacceptable. It's beneath the dignity of the office, beneath the dignity of our country.

The problem there is the blurring between some general notions, here, and things that are actually happening, as in your earlier post, in which you appear to have conflated the two. In reality it’s hard to get to the core of it because on the ground things are generally more complex than a diet of YouTube vids and 4chan (etc) will lead to to believe. There’s plenty of rape, murder and pillaging in White European history and it hasn’t stopped yet. Generally we’re ahead of current Muslim nations on most scores that I personally would consider important, but that’s just a perspective, and the current trend in politics may be leading us all back into the ‘kill everyone who isn’t like us’ lifestyle.
