No because he is outside our time. It is for us to uphold the keeping of the Sabbath in honor of the Creator.
His being outside of time did not stop him from resting on the original Sabbath, so why would any other Sabbath be any different?

YHWH spoke the world into existence in six days, YHWH rested on the seventh day. We know it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath, the law of Moses is read every Sabbath. When a lawyer says I rest my case, the entire courtroom knows the lawyer has finished speaking his argument. The judge or jury is then able to give a verdict. YHWH saw that everything he made was indeed good. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath, YHWH honored Sabbath each day of creation. Is it ever lawful for any man to do evil to his neighbor?

Yep, and after six "days" of dealing with sin, He rests a millennial rest with us.

All of G-d's work was finished in six days. (Genesis 2:1) This is why we must finish our work in six days, as a sign that our work is finished we rest. If we refuse to rest, our work has not ended. You end work literally when you rest, it is unlawful to do any labor during the seventh day, your work has ended. Evening is the end of a day, morning is the beginning. Man must work while it is day, the night cometh no man can work. G-d call the light day, he called the darkness night. We know speaking during Sabbath is not unlawful, YHWH spoke the world into existence. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath; YHWH did only good each day. As you stated to do good is not labor or work. Sabbath has no evening and morning, it is eternal, holy, a spiritual day. Sabbath means rest. When a lawyer in a courtroom says he rest his case, the entire courtroom know he has finished speaking his argument.
I'm not sure what you are arguing here. I would say though that I might disagree with two things

1. The day begins at sundown, not in the morning, that is the Gentile way or at midnight.

2. Evening is the beginning of the day that's why it says 'and the evening and the morning; in that order.

3. The weekly Sabbath does have a evening, we call it Erev Shabbat as opposed to Yom Shabbat

I totally agree. Did I write something that led you to believe I would disagree?
Maybe I read it too quickly I thought you had said that healing was not part of the works listed.

As Emily Letella used to say, Never mind :)

Because from my way of understanding this, He only needed to rest (cease) once at the end of that week. We are to also do this in honor of Him doing it that one time.

What do you think He is resting from every Shabbat?

Whatever work He did during that past week. He is constantly working except on Shabbat). Of course, He no longer works at creating the heavens and the earth, but He works in other ways (sustaining the universe, bringing rain, redirecting hurricanes, protecting His people, etc.).

The scripture makes no mention of evening and morning the seventh day. Would you agree?

It rains sometimes during Sabbath. There was no manna to gather up on the Sabbath day, as Israel walked by faith in the wilderness.

The sun was created on day 4, how was there evening and morning the first three days?

I said the seventh day of creation, no evening and morning.
Actually, your post only said "the seventh day". However, just because Genesis 2:2-3 does not mention evening and morning does not mean there was none that day. The other verses I quoted in post #s 64 & 68 show the seventh day has a morning and evening. I would say they are not mentioned in Genesis 2 because Elohim was no longer creating. He was now resting all day.

The Almighty does not need the sun to tell Him when evening and morning are. The sun is a sign to mankind so we would know when they are. When the sun set ending the sixth day of creation, did it remain dark throughout the entire seventh day? Did the sun set on the seventh day of creation so the next first day of the week could begin its night? What were Adam and even seeing on that seventh day? Did they not see the sun rise or set?

Right, but the passage states that he rested from all the work he created to do, not all work He would ever do or had ever done.

It sounds funny in English, but in Hebrew it makes more sense.

The word Kalah is an interesting study.

And ended God on the day seventh His work which He had done
And He rested on the day seventh from all His work which He had done

So as you can see by reading that He rested from the work of creation because he was done with that, it was completed.

Yes, He only rested from the work He did the creation week. That is what I have been saying all along. Every other 7th day from then on was for Him to rest from the previous week's work just as He wants us to do.

YHWH saw that the light was good. YHWH separated the light from darkness. YHWH called the light day, YHWH called the darkness night. When evening and morning ended so did the work of creation.

Why would it be dark on the seventh day if evening precedes morning? The sixth day morning would be the last event before Sabbath. Since you observe Sabbath by observing the sun, what about a world without sunlight? Yeshua transfigured into a bright light.
