Are you a proponent of a dawn to dusk Sabbath?

YHWH is not from this world and He kept rested on the Sabbath from the moment it began after the sixth day ended until the moment it ended when the first day began again.
A day begins in the morning until evening, the Sabbath is celebrated from Firday evening to Saturday evening. Does the scriptures speak of any days without morning and evening after the seventh day? When did the creation week account begin again?

Again, what does all this stuff have to do with whether or not YHWH rests on the Sabbath? When you answer that question, perhaps I will answer yours. At this point in time, I have no idea how any of this relates to the OP.

I always have pictured God resting from His creative activities to enjoy His achievements. We will be joining Him to enjoy the Millennium rest where He will be resting from creative work to celebrate His achievements, which is in this case, our salvation.

Since YHVH lives outside of time, that question becomes pointless.

The seventh day according to Genesis makes no mention of evening and morning.
Why does it have to? The pattern is already set.

But again, that is to us who live in a time zone.

It seems odd that 6 out of seven days had evening and morning. The day YHWH rested no mention of evening and morning.

Are you saying YHWH never rested on the Sabbath because He is outside of time? If so, please explain the verses that say He rested, like Exodus 31:17, on the Sabbath.

In that case HE came into time to inaugurate the Sabbath.

The Sabbath day is a spiritual day, no evening or morning.

The works the Father and the Son do on the Sabbath are not the works the Father rested from on the Sabbath. You make it sound like the Father no longer rests on the Sabbath. So your reply does not really address the OP. The question remains; If the phrase "a sabbath of rest uno the land" means the land gets to rest, wouldn't the phrase "a Sabbath of rest to YHWH" mean YHWH gets to rest? The answer must assume the same kind of works mentioned in Exodus 35:2 in the OP.
However there were no specifics given. The Rabbis determined what 'work' was that coulnd't be done on the Shabbat by what was done in building the Mishkan. :)

Was He not resting from creation, of putting things back to rights? He would no longer have to do that so He is still resting from that every day. But of other things as Yeshua said they both work on the Sabbath. As the Sabbath was made for man, not Man for the Sabbath.

And that will be after Yeshua does his 'work' of making all things New. :)

Are you saying that was a one-time thing or does He do it every Sabbath?

The Sabbath is to be kept as a commemoration of His creative work. However when it was given to Israel to keep, it was to be a memorial for Him bringing us out of Egypt. It is also to show the rest of the world who he is and to remind or be a reminder that He, the G-d Of Israel is the Creator.

Many times in history that has been challenged, even to this day with 'Darwinism' being the greatest challenge to Him.

I think He perpetually rests from the creative work he did on the Seventh day from the beginning.
We are to rest in honor of that one day and do it on a weekly cycle.

But we know those works did not include good works such as healing.

Was He not resting from creation, of putting things back to rights? He would no longer have to do that so He is still resting from that every day.
Are you saying every day is the SAbbath to YHWH?

But of other things as Yeshua said they both work on the Sabbath. As the Sabbath was made for man, not Man for the Sabbath.
As I said, the work they do on Sabbath was never forbidden.

I agree. The work of the original creation is a done deal. However, YHWH continues to create in other ways. Does He rest each Sabbath Day from whatever He creates throughout the past week or from whatever work He has done throughout the past week?
