The Bible never said that God is the author of sin. God did make a plan to redeem billions because He knew that many Angels and Men would sin.

Can we blame God for knowing all things, all things includes the fact that some would choose to rebel and sin against Him. God either knows all things or He doesn't, if He doesn't then that means that He is not all mighty and He is a liar and if He does then it means He didn't lie to us. I know which God I believe in.

God didn't predestine false preaches, He knew there would be many of them because again can we blame Him for knowing all things including the fact that false preaches would come along?
As I understand, God created all, including sin, for his glory. Apart from sin there is no mercy, grace, justice, wrath, sovereignty, all displayed by Christ on the cross. Loving God with all his body and soul and strength, and his enemies as himself.

If God is so holy that He cannot look upon sin, how can He predestine it and why did He do so?

Here I feel you may be confusing predestination with predetermination. God does not predetermine sin. Sin is a violation of God's will.

According to https://christianity.stackexchange.com/a/36189/14250,
  • Predestination = strong theological determinism
  • Predestination implies Predeterminism, but not the other way around.
What do you take them to mean and how do you distinguish them?

Perhaps you do not fully understand James. Why would Jesus have us pray that God not to lead us into temptation? This sin is in us, but God controls the circumstances that either unleash or suppress it.

Why is it you believe you fully understand James? Of course, man of his own intelligence (which is actually insanity), believes whatever his evil self desires. What part of James do you not understand?

Leading into temptation does not mean he is the cause of it. Does this escape you?

You don't understand James or God's sovereignty.

You don't understand James or God's sovereignty.

I don't??? And what is it with you, that you do understand them? Does being a deacon give you special knowledge? Please tell us how you are so privileged? Why does anyone have need of the Holy Spirit when we have you?

I don't think it's very difficult to understand what James told us of sin. How is it, you don't see that God doesn't tempt anyone? How is it you don't see that one is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust? How is it you don't see that when his lust is conceived, it brings forth SIN!!!

Summary of answers received on questions about predestination of sin and false teachers

Answers received on questions about predestination of sin and false teachers : cruciformity

For those who believe that God predestines everything, I have the following questions:

If God is so holy that He cannot look upon sin, how can He predestine it and why did He do so?

If God cannot lie, how can he predestine false teachers and their teachings and why did He do so?
What do you mean by predestinate sin?

Does God lead people into temptation? Of course he does if Jesus tells us to pray that he won't do so with us. The sin is in us, but the circumstances unleashing it or suppressing it are in God.

So you have Jesus not wanting God's will in our lives. Seems you have the two battling each other.

Where do you find that God 'unleashes' or 'suppresses' sin in us?

The hardening of Pharaoh's heart comes to mind. Also Jesus praying for Peter that his faith didn't fail shows a supernatural strengthening of Peter when Satan desired to sift him as wheat.

If you think self-righteousness is the measure of a person, you do not understand grace.

Show me grace in hardening Pharaoh's heart.

Tell us all how God 'unleashed' sin in your life. Then tell us all the evil you did after He 'unleashed' it.

Predetermine sin
Okay, what do you mean but 'PREDETERMINED' sin? I want to understand your position before I reply. I believe I understand it. But to be safe, I'm asking for clarification, if you do not mind?

Hardening Pharaoh's heart is damnation not grace. Turning refined women into cannibals who ate their young in the siege of Jerusalem (according to Josephus) was part of the wrath of God in judgement of the nation. Thank God he hasn't placed you under his wrath and done the same with you. But God tells us;

“And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.” (Deuteronomy 30:6) (KJV 1900)

Before I retort, I have to say, I see you placing a lot of blame on God. But make no mention of how evil people are? Why?

Abortions, school shootings, Las Vegas shootings, Uber shootings, robbing, killing, child sex trafficking, drugs, racial hatred and so forth.

I will debate you on this topic, as I have debated people in the past with the same premises.

All of the sins you mention are common to fallen human nature. And God God judges each accordingly. Babies die because the wages of sin is death. And all are sinners in Adam.

You are a Calvinist and do not know why?
I know I am a Calvinist, and I know why. But I did not know that you know, why? Which is why I am asking. This will lead to your questions about so-called God's predetermined sins.

Are you infralapsarian or supralapsarian?
