CAN YOU HAVE GOD'S GRACE WITHOUT GOD'S LAW?

Hello all. Thought this would be an interesting topic for discussion. How can you have God's GRACE if there is not LAW that gives us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL? If we do not KNOW that we are all sinners how can we see our need of a Saviour?

According to God's WORD, ALL those who CONTINUE in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will not enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN *HEBREWS 10:26-27 because they reject the gift of God's dear son *ROMANS 6:23.

OBEDIENCE to God's LAW is not how we are saved it is the FRUIT of God's work in us as we BELIEVE and FOLLOW his WORD. If our faith has no fruit it is dead *JAMES 2:18-20; 26 and our tree will be cast down and thrown into the fire *MATTHEW 3:10; 7:19-20; 13:49-50.

We are saved by GRACE through faith and not of ourselves it is a gift of God *EPHESIANS 2:8. We are all sick with sin and need a Physician *MATTHEW 9:12-13. If we do not know we are sick why would we seek a physician?

No one is saying we should use the law as a way to get rightouesness as we have none. We are only saved by GRACE through FAITH and not of ourselves it is a GIFT of GOD and not of WORKS lest any man should boast *EPHESIANS 2:8. However God's eternal LAW (10 commandments) does have a role to play in GRACE which I have highlighted in your post. God's eternal LAW (10 Commandments) has the same role it always has in both the OLD and NEW COVENANT and that is to give us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172.

With that in mind back to the OP QUESTIONS..

WHAT PART DOES GOD'S LAW HAVE IN GRACE?

I live in a very gay neighborhood. I am called to build up my neighbors, pretty clearly.
And the gays are not dying near as fast as the drug dealers, drunks, and other heterosexuals who sit in prison. I kid you not, my neighbors house sits unoccupied and I have to watch it. Likely a gay person will move in some day and live just fine. So you must have your wires crossed, becasue gays are not dying off. And they obey government laws quite well.

Only God can see ones motives.

When someone kills, steals, commites perversion or adultery and lies, it doesn't matter what the motive is - they are subject to death, because that is the penalty for sin. Without repentance, there is no forgiveness.

God has exposed your motives clearly in His Word, which likewise your motives are clearly posted in your own words.

God has written in Scripture and in the hearts of all who love Him, who are called according to His Purpose,

the penalty for sin, especially sin in the heart, that you post about doing without repenting.

Sadly man is not qualified to judge. What you think you SEE is of no importance. God sees the intentions of the heart which only God can judge.
