All I asked was whether you still sin. Look at the size of your response.
Do I believe in holiness? Of course I do, I simply don't understand your accusations.
Apparently, you only sin on the odd occasion?
I find that very hard to believe!
Do you continue to commit the same sins, over and over, again?
Have you repented of your sin?
This is the point that I don't understand. If you truly repent of a sin, then you will not commit that sin again. Given that your repentance is a genuine repentance of course. So what is your excuse?
Is sin, in fact, lawlessness?
Do you believe you have to be sin free and perfect to be saved?
You are exaggerating. The size my response was not unusually large. I just know what you believe. I can smell Eternal Security (OSAS) or the Non-OSAS sin and still be saved type belief a mile away. I heard all the tells or responses and excuses that are dead give aways that are justification for wrong doing. When a person asks me about my own sin, they are trying to confirm that everyone sins and it is impossible to stop sinning in this life (As if we walk by sight and not by faith). Conclusion for you: Don't worry about sin and just believe in Jesus. Problem in believing this way? This can lead others to think we can be an axe murdering rapists as long as we believe on Jesus (Whether you want that to happen or not)
First, what you fail to understand is that not all sin is the same and not all sin will condemn a believer. In your view, you think no sin can condemn a believer or very few sins will. 1 John 5:16-18 says there is a sin unto death and there is a sin not unto death. Jesus says there is a greater sin. Jesus says if we speak bad words against the Holy Ghost, it can never be forgiven. But if we speak words (blasphemy) against the Son of Man (Jesus), it will be forgiven. Paul lists certain sins several times that can condemn us (Galatians 5:19-21) (1 Corinthians 6:9-10), and so does Jesus (Matthew 5:28-30, Matthew 6:15, Matthew 25:30-46). Even after the cross, John says that if you hate your brother, no eternal life abides in you (1 John 3:15). Not sure how you can twist and change all these verses, but they mean what they say plainly.
Second, you said you believe in holiness. But this would not be the kind of holiness described in the Bible - IMO. While Christ's righteousness is imputed to us after we believe on Him for salvation (seeking His forgiveness), but this would also include walking in the light as He is in the light in order for the blood of Jesus to cleanse us from all sin (See 1 John 1:7). God has chosen us to salvation through Sanctification and belief of the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:13). It's not just one or the other. God sets a minimum standard of holiness in His Word within the New Testament. Primarily these are sins dealing with the moral law (loving your neighbor) (not murdering, stealing, helping the poor, etc.) and also in preaching (or spreading) the gospel. 1 John 3:10 really cuts to the heart of the matter and demolishes the sin and still be saved type belief. Read it several times in prayer. It makes no room for the popular belief in churches these days that scream grace, grace, and yet no change in one's life to walk holy with the Lord. Holiness is merely optional.... or it is impossible according to the popular churches of today. It is their message that runs contrary to God's Word. I remember showing a close Christian friend of mine 1 Peter 4:1 in (that I have known for a very long time) what it says. He just said that this verse means something else and he did not say what that something else was (Note: See 1 Peter 4:1-2 to get the full meaning). See. There is a problem going on here. People do not like what God's Word says. So they pick and choose which parts in the Bible they want to believe in. This does not mean I do not love my fellow brother and or all who believe in Jesus, but not everyone is either ready to follow Jesus or they simply do not like all of what Jesus (our Lord) had to say.
Side Note:
The fact that another poster gave a rep to your post saying it was a winner makes me very afraid for you and him. I would not want to be in your shoes.
