IS IT SIN TO BREAK THE 10 COMMANDMENTS? (Yep!)

Not sure why some say 10.. the law was 613. You keep ALL of you fail in all. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

NO ONE can keep ALL 613. Ever. Do you know why?

Anyway, today's Jews still believe that they will go to heaven by keeping Moses Law, similar to beggar Lazarus, Moses, Elijah and other Old Testament Jews. Today's Jews reject the New Covenant or New Testament.

Jesus gave no comment on how Lazarus got to heaven.

Not loving your neighbor is a salvation issue.

Not really true.

Besides substance/drug addicts or dependents, those suffering from Social phobia, Asperger's Syndrome and other mental disorders could not "love your neighbor", eg could not feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, take in strangers, clothe the naked and visit sick prisoners.

Your blanket statement about 'not loving your neighbor being a salvation issue is "discriminating" against a minority of Gentiles from being saved from hell just because they are "not loving your neighbor", which statement is not very different from the behavior of the self-righteous Pharisees and Judaizers who were stumbling blocks to salvation.

It is good to "love your neighbor" but not a must for salvation. Only faith in Jesus Christ is a must for salvation, especially for some sad and weak Gentile Christians.

Indeed, the Jews also had to make up thing about Jesus in order to find an excuse to put him on the cross.

Paul was not under the Law.

“To the Jews I became like a Jew to gain the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law) to gain those under the law.” (1 Corinthians 9:20)

“To those free from the law I became like one free from the law (though I am not free from God’s law but under the law of Christ) to gain those free from the law.” (1 Corinthians 9:21)

Nope! You cannot have LOVE without the law getting you there. As Jesus says on these two commandments [LOVE TO GOD and LOVE TO MAN] hang all the law and the prophets (Matthew 22:36-40).

If you are born again, the Holy Spirit will convict you of sin. The Law only points out obvious sin.

The scriptures show you are only telling half the story and you do not know what the OLD COVENANT is. If you do not know what the OLD COVENANT is how can you understand what the NEW COVENANT is about?

The ARK of the COVENANT did indeed contain what the OLD COVENANT was. Let's have a look and see what it contained.

Yep there is the 10 Commandments housed in the ARK of the COVENANT.

DEUTERONOMY 31:26 [26] Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against you.

You've got it half right. The Ten Commandments were the Old Covenant kept inside the Ark of the Covenant. But all the peripheral laws pertained to the Ten Commandments. And when Christ inaugurated the New Covenant on the cross, all of the Old expired.

And the response was from Jesus. He was agreeing with them for the most part. Did Jesus say that they were not breaking the Sabbath? (no) Did he say that what David and his companions did was unlawful? (yes) Did he say that the priests desecrated the Sabbath? (yes) What does all this tell us?

As to your post above? No one is under the Law when they have been forgiven for their sins. Only those who break God's LAW are under it as they stand guilty before God of sin.

Those not forgiven of their sins are not under the law either. It was for the Jews and Christ abolished it on the cross. The heathen have the law in their hearts which is enough to condemn them.

It simply says you do not know the NT teaching on the Ten Commandments. Paul proves this when he says “To the Jews I became like a Jew to gain the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law) to gain those under the law.” (1 Corinthians 9:20)
