I said:
"Now ask the 1M$ question about whether any recipient of eternal life can perish."
Your unbiblical answer has been refuted 100 times.
We all know your Pharisee system of works salvation. But the Bible teaches that WHEN one believes they HAVE (that means possess) eternal life. John 5:24, 6:47, 1 John 5:13
And Jesus in plain words said that recipients of eternal life (believers) shall never, no, not ever, perish. John 10:28
So this makes 101 times your answer has been refuted.
No, the judgment seat of Christ is for rewards, not the keys to the kingdom as you opine.
Please ask sensible and reasonable questions.
No, not while I'm "in" this life. But at the END of this life, I will surely die physically.
Been through this 100 times, so now for the 101st.
Rom 2:6-8 is a statement about how to earn eternal life; by continually doing good, of which NO human being is capable of doing.
Since you love to quote Paul here, why do you persist in ignoring what else he wrote, like Rom 3:9 and 3:23, in which he condemned the entire human race by their sin.
Why you may not be able to grasp the significance of this, I'll explain. Since all humans are sinful, NONE are capable of "continually doing good".
Got it? Hope so.
Just more of your rancid opinion.
There is nothing you can quote that will somehow by pass the Day of Judgment, in which we all will be judged according to our deeds.
- For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body,
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences. 2 Corinthians 5:10-11
- Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
Same Paul who wrote Romans 2:6-8
- eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;
God who
“will render to each one according to his deeds”:
eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality;
but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath Romans 2:6-8
Christians who have the Holy Spirit and live immoral lives practicing the works of the flesh, rather than living according to the Spirit,
will not inherit the kingdom of God.
19 Now
the works of the flesh are evident, which are: fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past,
that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21
- that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
- for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts. Romans 13:11-14
- But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
