The Jordanian police did not place this sign around the Temple Mount, the Chief Rabbinate of Israel did.

The Jordanian police were certainly stopping Jews and Christians from praying on the Mount, and restricting how many non-Muslims were able to be on the Mount. People were queuing for hours just to be able to go up the steps to see the mosque, let alone see anything else.

I didn’t suggest that the Jordanian police were not stopping Jews or Christians from praying on the Mount. But they are not the only organization that is preventing at least the Jews from praying there.

If the PA want Jerusalem as a shared Capital then, no matter where the line is drawn, in the immediate Jerusalem area there will be two sets of Embassies for every country in the world, one set for Israel and, a short distance away, another set for the PA! Plus various offices for international bodies / organisations etc., plus the ifrastructure to service them, and then extra space to accommodate the various security forces required to police the Embassies, and so it goes on and on.

All Embassies, together with their related buildings, tend to be rather large... Jerusalem is rather small.

Where will the indigenous people live?

Absolutely.

Not the person, the SPIRIT.

One of the tests in 1 John for this spirit is that it denies the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:22

One of the main tenets of islam taught to Mohamed is "God has no son." That proves the spirit behind islam is anti-christ.
Hi Brother ..Yes I am familiar with that teaching and I have no doubt that the "spirit" of anti-christ resides in any teaching that denies the Son. So basically you have two religions which deny the Son fighting over a city which will soon be burnt up along with the elements in fervent heat . Is God now a respecter of persons ? ( I am familiar with the saying of God to Abraham whoever curses you , etc.) As a child of Abraham through his seed, Jesus Christ , ( who was before Abraham ) I do not dare be a curse to Abraham by leading the Jews astray. We are to provoke them to envy .

But how else is the Son denied ? And why does the US favor secular Israel who also deny the Son while supporting secular schools in the US who also deny the Son ( and the Father ). The Son said , lay not up treasures on earth where thieves steal . ( This is called a good economy and is the primary reason for schools , advertising , amazon , etc. ) I was taught in public schools and the purpose had nothing to do with the Son of God ..It was about my career .
The Son said , love your enemies and pray for those who spitefully use you . How else do we deny the Son ? Believe Me, woman," Jesus replied, "a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.
The Son said , " The hour is coming and NOW IS when true worshipers will worship in spirit and in truth for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. ( This was in answer to the samaritan woman who said the Jews claimed that worship was in Jerusalem whereas they worship in Mt Gerizim. ) Isn't that a joyus truth ? It is no longer about a place ....we can worship the Father anywhere and any time . For heaven is My throne and earth is My footstool. ( It got Stephen in trouble to claim that God does not dwell in a temple made with hands . )
How shall the Muslims know about the Son of God when we deny Him in our actions while claiming to know Him ? Jesus without His words and actions is not Jesus at all . This is how He is denied . What made Hitler , Hitler ? His words ..his teachings ...his evil influence and his actions . The Son said , My Words are Spirit and they are Life . He who is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation , him will the Son of man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels .
The Son is denied in almost innumerable ways today. ( In the story of the rich man and Lazarus , the rich man was not a terrorist nor an atheist . ) ...So whereas I am in no way in favor of Muslims that do violence , I am also in no way in favor of Americans or Isralites or Buddhist or atheist who do violence or promote such with their words. May we stop denying the Word of God.

People hold on too much to what are mere stones! The true Temple of God is within us!
By God's grace, you said in one sentence what I had tried to say in many. My hope is the messianic Jews will relay that to their brothers according to the flesh . I guess a messianic Jew is a converted person of Jewish ancestry .

I never understood why Muslims hold Jerusalem as a sacred city. Muslims can have the cities of Mecca and Medina and Jews can have Jerusalem. Why is this a problem?

Because it was never about the city, or even the
mosque there on the Temple Mount. That is why
that mosque was falling apart for centuries until
the Jews began returning in large numbers. The
only thing the Muslims care about in Israel is to
drive the Jews out of it.

There is a temple in heaven. There will be another
physical temple on earth. Parables about the body
do not preclude the facts.

Embassies don't have to be humongous, like
the monstrosity in Iraq. In fact, our ambassadors
should not be living like Kings in other countries.

There are still a lot to fit in to what is a medium sized city, that has a very large number of tourists, with the prospect of many more if the lead stops flying. The hut you show, above, may be the office, but then there are staff and homes for those staff, car parking space etc etc. Poor Jerusalem will be inundated, even if all the Embassies are relatively small. Remember, there must be TWO of each Embassy - one to Israel in the west of the city and one to the 'Palestinians' in the east of the city. This shows how stupid it is to have the same Capital city for two different countries.

Mmmm. Two very different pictures of, allegedly, the same place? Ah, one is a Consular Office the other is the actual Embassy!

A group with no actual authority.
They did the wrong thing.

If you live in Israel for more than a two week visit on a tourist visa and you will see how much authority the Chief Rabbinate of Israel has.

My visas - the card given at entry - have always been for a month, is that not the normal length of time one is given?

Who who has exclusive rights to the land of the USA.
Modern Americans
or native Americans. who were displaced.

The Jews were dispersed from all Israel by the Romans 2000 years ago.
It has been ruled by other people right up to after WW2. when the Jews were given shared rights of settlement. Since then they have assumed rights over much of the land. Palestinians who have lived continuously on these lands for at least 1000 years have been displaced.

From the 17th century: Where were the Palestinian's seats of Government? What currency did they use, and what denominations of currency on the open markets? What was the exchange rate of that currency, on the major currency markets, prior to them being 'displaced'? Who were their kings and/or other internationally accepted and recognised leaders? Who were their highest ranking military officers of note? What was the average population in the 1000 years to which you refer in 100 year sections.

What I mean is, if you try to live there longer than a visit, either by making Aliyah or taking a job there for a few years, the Rabbinate has some authority. From the religion listed on the identity card, if a person can even make Aliyah or not, marriages, funerals, divorces, child support, and managing religious sites are just a few things that they control. I think they have lost the authority to force shops and restaurants to close on Shabbat but most of the Jewish owned ones are closed none the less.

Thank you for clarifying. We found a number of shops open on Shabbat, mostly food shops, which was just as well because we were self catering. Jewish shops were shut, as far as we could tell, in Jerusalem.

The people who we now call Palestinians populated that land continuously, they were the indigenous subjects of various rulers.

From Wiki
The adoption of Christianity by the Roman Empire in the 4th century led to a Christian majority which lasted until the 7th century when the area was conquered by the Arab Empire. It gradually became predominantly Moslem until the Crusades between 1096 and 1291, when it was the focal point of conflict between Christianity and Islam. From the 13th Century it was mainly Moslem with Arabic as the dominant language and was first part of the Syrian province of the Mamluk Sultanate and then part of the Ottoman Empire until the British conquest in 1917.
