CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ah ok. I thought it could possibly be that, but I wasn't sure. With the two connected together I couldn't imagine anything else, but I really wasn't at all sure. I don't think I've ever actually seen one, and don't know how they work.

urgh my head waitng for fire alarm fitters to come and put them in there doing the whole block but for some reason they have gone up stairs first unsure why i hate work men at the best of times right now isnt the best of times at the moment but thankfully my husband is here with me if i was on the door would never get in

I well remember the time [ actually the first time ] I saw a censor being 'swung' was in the Romanian Orthodox Church in London - as I said to my GodPapa after wards - I've seen the glowing charcoal in the censor for the very first time . Yup it had been swung waaaaay above the priest's head
