What reasons would be that I would be sent to hell when I die?

So let's get this straight.
You say You are a Christian. But you don't believe God.
You don't believe the wicked perish
You don't believe God heals either I assume.
Is there anything about God You do believe?
And if he is lying about outer darkness how can you be sure of anything he says.

I am not certain to who you are directing this towards. If its me, I am agnostic on the subject of hell, Orthodox Christianity does not recognize it in their doctrines, and they hold the traditions of the early church and can be traced all the way to Saint Peter himself. The concept of eternal destruction of a soul seems contradictory to all that Christ is. Jesus said I did not come to condemn but to save. Jesus was the express image of the Father, Jesus was just like him in character. Jesus also said love your enemies, let that one sink in when you think about hell.

I lean more on the side that fire mentioned in revelation is one of cleansing and purifying, I don't think people will be suffering for eternity. I find hell to be rather a fascinating topic for further study. I was raised evangelical but after contemplation and examination, I understand why universalist Christians believe what they do, their theory is no less biblical than the evangelical argument that hell is literal.

Greetings
There is Only One Reason any one sends them selves to hell.....

That is REJECTING Jesus and His Salvation.
However we must strive to continue to walk in His Ways.

Blessings

There is much truth in this. Hell is full of volunteers only. It is for committing the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit which most theologians describe as final impenitence—(that is dying in a state of unrepentance....loving the sinful life even unto death). Those who are eternally unrepentant, are of course quite happy with their sins, and have no internal sign of loving God and wishing the beatific vision eternally. Hell is a Mercy. They could not stand the light of God. They prefer darkness, and will be granted to be separated from the light and love of God, as they themselves have chosen throughout their lives. They must have been told the Gospel, understood it, and chosen by free will even with the knowledge of to turn against it with full intent. This doesn't really describe ANYONE who has accepted God and His free gift of grace. The good thief was unbaptised, (here again, not the norm or prescription, but God can do all things), didn't live a good Christian life, (though it is recommended strongly that you do, because it shows your love of God.....He will even give you grace to do so, if you ask). But he was still told by God Himself that he would enter paradise that very day. Why? Because when confronted with his own death, he was, in fact repentant and sorrowful for his sins. He acknowledged his sinful nature and even felt that his earthly punishment was just and deserved. He wasn't a whiner. But above all, he was sorry. He regretted his sins, and asked humbly that God remember him in the kingdom. The other their however, likely didn't get to see heaven, because he didn't really care about it or want it. He just wanted what he viewed as an escape artist or magician to save his miserable EARTHLY life. He turned down what could have been a grace from God. He didn't recognize, nor even want eternal life with God. He wanted only to be free of the cross to go on with a life of ugliness and sin.

Hello. I've been terrified of being sent to hell for a very long time now.

I don't know why I am. I have a Bible that I take very careful care of. It has no rips or tears or anything. I always put God first before anything and anyone. I know and accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I believe in Him dying on the cross for all our sins. I accept that I sin and take full responsibility for it. I have asked for His forgiveness and totally feel He forgave me.

But what are the reasons I would be sent to hell? I have major anxiety about everything. It's truly really bothersome. So your answers will truly help reassure me, thank you. :D <3
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit or rejecting God's grace and His Spirit is the only unforgivable sin. Relax sis, you're saved. God bless :).

Really... ??salvation is assured because they don't have a torn bible and they accept Jesus?..
Can you show that in scripture?

Hell is the ghost world where all people who die to go. Only a Child of the kingdom goes to Abraham's Bosom which is the same Spiritual Plane - the ghost world, because you no longer have a body and thus, are a ghost.

Your ansestor Adam was kicked out of Paradise and you were born, over here, where God does not walk. Your only Hope of getting back into Paradise is to Trust God that He has your back.
You must Trust Him that you'll be taken care of even if it rains 56 inches in a day and
floats you out to sea. You need to trust that He will always be there for you. Even if you die.
Yes, your mortal life is lived without God holding your hand, pulling you out of the quicksand. Trust God and be saved in the end.

He will only do that if he doesn't consider me an enemy. I have absolutely no way of ever being sure.

Experience but you can take it either way.

I'd much prefer to go by experience, but I'm guessing by your short response that it may not be something you'd want to discuss. I'd have to get into specifics to answer specifically, but I could understand why you might not want to. Sounds like you've had a rough time.

I don't know if there would be any point. It's so complicated that i'll likely be confused until the day I die.

I spend a lot of time contemplating what it would take to banish the doubts and it all comes down to witnessing God work in my life and in the lives of others. I have never seen this. So no words can help.

I understand. Just keep in mind that sometimes He works in ways we don't understand, and chooses not to work in the ways we think or have been taught that He would. But this doesn't mean He has rejected you or cursed you, or you have "committed the unpardonable sin" or something.

That is entirely possible...but I don't get to ever be aware of it. I just float through life having no idea what is going on. To make matters worse, my inability to praise God's work could put me in Hell. So not only will I never know anything in this life but it will just keep getting worse forever :(

which totally cancels out any trust in God. There will always be suspicion that he is still angry about something.

You must Trust that, like your earthly father and mother,
He will not use anger as a gage for His Love for you.

My earthly father is autistic and incapable of relationships and my earthly mother still thinks I'm a moron.

I have never experienced love. It is a concept that I'm still trying to study and comprehend.

You are only allowed in to Hell if you Reject God's Spirit intentionally.
If you treat others as well as you would wish to be treated, then you
are listening to the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 5:14 The entire Law is fulfilled in a single decree: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Is it being done properly? I am so devastated that I have absolutely no feelings for anyone. I am basically a sociopath. I try to act like a servant of God but my actions are machine-like. My heart is too damaged to grow close to anyone.

The wages of Sin is Death. What this means is that any existence not under
the direct guidance of God should be your immediate cause of death.
Anything you may experience other than immediate death, is a gift
from our loving God.

I'm sure you've heard the phrase "Count your blessings".
It take practice to identify the good things in life.
Having vision is one of them.
Hearing is good.
A sense of touch is valuable.
Both eyes is a good thing.
The ability to write is much more common than in the past.
Changing the brightness on your monitor or phone is a gift.
There are others. People to talk to. etc.

Really? You are already having conversations with perfect strangers
and I don't see any signs of autism. I don't see any damage at all.
You are actually conversing better than many posters online.
