I think this is misunderstood scripture.
The broad gate is all those who die and need to be resurrected.

Matthew chapter 7 verse 13
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

I just thought I'd show it was misunderstood.

Never had this question before. Like asking would you die for Christ. Duh.. yet you just dont hear NO if ever. Yet.. history says different. 12 walked with Him, seen ALL the wonders He did.. and knew they would die for Him. Yet.. ALL left when push came to shove. And we that have not seen Him or the all those wonders would? So myself.. said all my life. If being a "Christian" was just going to Church and reading the bible.. I would have left along time ago. I get stuck so many times on what I see feel.. so "your living forever right now".. ok lol..not what I look forward to. Really.. Like so many of you.. Its Him.. thats what I want..thats the reason. He gives you this TASTE...that EVERYTHING within you goes NUTS FOR! A hunger for Him.. that never ends. For me..its this LOVE that sees all this wickness hate for HIM...yet.. He has this love for them...that goes way past my understanding.. THATS what I want

I read about the "road".. I never see this as every lasting life. Well I take it as its written. Wide is the gate to destruction. We see this EVERYDAY! Narrow is the way to life. Each translation that I read says "life" not every lasting life. And.. we see this right now in life. Few find it.. did not Jesus say.. I came to give you LIFE and give it more abundantly?

Meaning that you could only enjoy limited life with the Lord on this Earth. No eternal life, just this one.
For some people, some Christians, it seems Heaven has already started for them here. They walk so close to God everyday. They are in love. And I respect that a lot. I think these people aren't so much focussed on the reward of heaven. They love the Lord so much now, they are just happy to serve Him now in this earthly life. Their reward is now.
I'm thinking that is a healthy approach. Because if our motivation to follow the Commandments and serve the Lord, is an extrinsic reward like Heaven, we are not really motivated by love. We are motivated by what is in it for us.

even one minute serving the true God is more than nothing, and it's definitely worth it - after all, there is an eternal reward therein, because if anyone saves even one soul/person, they save all souls in the longest term of the eternity...

Blessings

No it hasn't.

The GOD HIMSELF said:
If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death. Enoch and Elijah the great Prophets never saw death and transfigured in life.

Destruction is death as death is called your enemy in revelations. What has been misunderstood is the true message, the core message of the Gospel.

Death is not the route to heaven, it is the route to hell. Since Hell is the place for the dead. those who are resurrected entered through the broad gate, because how many people do you think have died since the foundation of the world?

Those that entered through the narrow gate gained eternal life, never died, not even physically, and there be few 2 to be exact thus far, that found it.

Are you referring to ghosts? Or rather spirits that have unfinished business to take care of on Earth, or that want to see their families? Or when you say assignments as in God asks you to be a messenger for him to a person who still lives on Earth? (I apologize for all the questions, I'm honestly curious and I ask a lot of questions normally xD)

I can't answer those questions. But it just seems a sheer waste to have intelligent, spiritual, loyal and able servants who never have anything assigned to them to do, so . . . expect work. Report for DUTY! Maybe we have to wait until the 2nd coming . . . but whats a few more years up against eternity?

So Jesus lied to the criminal in Luke 23:43 when he said, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise."?

That paradise is not Heaven, its Abraham's Bosom. The GOD in the 3 days after HE was crucified did not go to Heaven either.

John 20
17Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

So Jesus isn't in heaven either? You have some "odd" theological beliefs.
Did i say that?

No i said in the three days after HE was crucified, HE had not yet ascended the to the father, and i provided scripture to prove it.

You either don't understand english, or you don't understand scripture.

So your saying Jesus entered through the broad gate.

I don't think I'm the one misunderstanding.

The GOD incarnate is not in the count as the GOD is immortal. Unbelievable that you would suggest such a thing. HE came to atone for the Original Sin, Mortality. HE did not come to run HIS race. This comment shows a complete lack of understanding of anything Spiritual.

it wasn't an insult, it is the only 2 options as to why you would respond in that way since i never said what you stated.

Actually, you did. And telling someone whose posting in perfect English that they don't understand English is a personal attack. I have reported your post.

Heaven and earth aren't mutually exclusive, you can experience heaven on earth; heaven is simply the radiant presence of God. At the end, there will be a full rejoining of heaven and earth.

Would I be a Christian if there were no Resurrection or life after death? No, Paul himself said Christianity would worthless, pointless and empty if there weren't, and Christians would be the sorriest people there are. If you'd be a Christian even if there were no Resurrection, then frankly you don't understand Christianity.

The narrow gate is the path to eternal life - which means not tasting death at all as Enoch and Elijah never tasted death. These are the few that have found it thus far, and this was before the Crucifixion. If it meant dying first, then saying that it is eternal would be a lie.

The broad gate is all those who die and need to be resurrected.

There is a reason why it is written:
Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink HIS blood, ye have no life in you. This is talking about eating the WORD, undiluted, not the ritual of communion. And it saying from the Son of Man. the GOD in HIS incarnate Manifestation is not the Son of Man. HE is the GOD who created Man. Which Man is HIS father? The Son of Man, is the Son of Lord Adam H.E, the Son of GOD, and that is Elijah.

Thus, Elijah will have the restored Gospel, because he is the one to restore all things, the restitutioner and the people which Hearken unto his voice shall be saved from death, while the ones that dont will be crushed at the return of GOD the Son.

We are supposed to be Spiritual People as Christians, all we do in this Earth earns our office in Heaven. If you chose death, then you will be resurrected and will inherit the new earth. IF you choose life, and hearken unto this voice, then you will make the 3rd Heaven Eden. However, all children of the kingdom are saved from the lake of fire, and will return to their home, Heaven.

Read: Acts 3:19-23, Malachi 4:4-6, Rev 10:7, John 16:12-15 1 Cor 15:50-58, John 8:51-52, Ezekiel 37.
Where exactly does the Bible say ritual and ceremony are bad or unnecessary? God seems to place an enormous emphasis on them.

He also places a lot of emphasis on vestments. Indeed, when Christ condemns how Pharisees dress, he's obviously not referring to vestments, since vestments were prescribed by God and the Pharisees wouldn't be wearing them (since they were not priests).

Rituals are not of GOD. Rituals are of the occult. They are mysticism, spiritualism, divination etc...
The GOD does not work in Rituals.
