• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What's on your mind?

Oh, man, that was the entirety of my childhood. I WAS the pink ranger as far as I saw it. I even had the gloves that made all the cool sound effects plus the theme song. ^_^

Holy crap I had that same costume, except I was the red ranger! The gloves had those hidden buttons between the thumb and index finger that would make the "swoosh" karate noises. I can't remember if it was the belt, or one of the toy weapons I had, but it would also play the Power Rangers theme song (which, let's be honest: it was the best TV theme ever).

I am just pigging out on chips and chocolate while watching the fireworks in Washington DC. This is exactly what I have predicted.

Seriously, everything I was taught NOT to do has become the norm with this generation.

I just hope he follows through on his pro-life promises.

I'm not American, and with our liberal government it wouldn't effect us in the slightest (the PM came to my town the other day and I went and saw him and he made it very clear Canada is going to stick to it's current values), but still, rooting that America takes that step.

Yep! I frequently wore the batteries down in mine. Lol

It sounds as if you still wear it.

Trust me, I would if it was still around. But I also have probably two feet and 150lbs on my seven-year-old self, so there's that issue...

I have to admit that on occasion, I play the Green Ranger flute with inanimate objects.

Yes, at 26, I still believe that one day, I will call up the Dragon Zord.

Dude I had that toy, you'd push the "flute buttons" on the hilt and it would play the Dragon Zord theme. You never know, it could happen...

I'm already seeing advertisements for Valentine's Day. We seriously cannot get through one holiday before we're bombarded with another. But, any holiday that gives me an excuse to buy massive amounts of chocolate I'm okay with.

I saw houses with Christmas lights up before Halloween this year!

Now I feel like I lived a deprived childhood lol. I had a crush on the pink ranger when I was younger...

Hey, who didn't? You are speaking of the first incarnation of the pink ranger, Amy Johnson, right?

You ever see her in that Disney movie where she was a ghost who gave the kid who moved into her house after her death quite possibly the friendliest, most non- threatening haunting ever done by a ghost? She was adorable in that one. ^-^

The only thing on my mind about February 14th is that pitchers and catchers report to spring training. HUZZAH!
