The bible teaches that when we are born again, we are born of the image of Christ (referring to your spirit) Galatians "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." our spirit is the same, it's a completely different environment with different laws, so yes we lose our sexuality, otherwise you wouldn't be in that environment to begin with

Luke 18:17
Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

It's a figurative statement. "like a little child" is a state of mind.

Now, if you think like a little child, would you be thinking of sex in the Kingdom of God?

Surely, sexual ecstasy, while giving us an intimation of the joys of heaven, could do no more than that ; the reality would be more 'magical' and varied (not kinky, I hasten to add !).

Although, imo, logical, it would seem to be borne out by NDEers, many of whom would have experienced sexual ecstasy on many occasions, in this realm of life.

I feel this could mean it in the literal sense...like there will literally be no male or female genders....or it could mean that everyone will be equal to each other.

I think its a bit of both. As to the angels being called the sons of God.,I think they're called that because its easier for our finite minds to understand.

First recognize that having sex is the same as marriage in God's eye. Further note that sex and marriage has the purpose of reproduction. Now look what scripture says.

Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.

Genesis 2:24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.

Matthew 22:30 At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

The consequences of sex is reproduction. The act creates a union of flesh, they become one. Now Jesus clearly states there will be no unions of people to each other in heaven or the next age.

From this I conclude that if there is no reproduction, there is no need for reproductive organs. Jesus says we will be like angels in heaven. So I say there will be no gender in our resurrected bodies.

The bible says we take off corruptible and put on incorruptible. And the bible doesn't describe angels having mirage becuase they are spiritually in a relationship with JESUS, we will have a relationship like that. No sex or anything just us worshiping JESUS.

I'd say no,

the bride, which is the saved and redeemed church as a collective, will be in marriage to her bridegroom Jesus Christ. the 'sexuality' we will experience will not be physical, but spiritual in that our hearts will be so enamored with our husband Jesus that nothing else will matter.

He said there won't be genders either. I know a girl named Randi and knew one named Andy.. And cousins wife is spelled Gabriel( pronounced gabrielle) so names don't always specify/reflect gender.That reminds me,getting a bit off topic, some men were called Ashley,dana and alexis was a boys name first...oh and I knew a male Courtney in High school... I don't know I think some things are beyond are comprehension. I think in some of Daniels visions he saw an angel with multiple eyes or one with two heads. That might have been a prophet in the Old testaments vision.

No there's so much more. God wouldn't put mansions in heaven for nothing I think it would be infite, the things we could do.... Plus, even though it would be weird(can't lie) we have to be grateful this man/God gave us live and created the world we are currently one, give us breathe each day, clothes on our back, food to eat and created a new place in heaven for us.. As well as new eternal bodies for us... He has done so much ...that we really should praise him forever.
