It'd be nice if someone would come on these forums to talk about this topic and justify God instead of man. Notice the man-centered focus of the post. It's about man being punished rather than transgressing against a holy God. Jesus Christ, the holy One of God, suffered and died on the cross because God won't ever forgive sin. God preferred to have His Son go to the cross and be made sin, rather than forgive sin.
Why does hell exist? For the devil and his angels, and anyone who follows after them. We, as forgiven sinners, deserve hell, and we as Christians should never, ever forget that. When man starts believing he doesn't deserve hell anymore he starts to accuse God of unrighteousness in his heart because he has forgotten he was cleansed of his past sins. This post is at the least, blasphemy against a holy God who ordained hell because of His righteousness and justice. Sin will be paid for and if it isn't at the cross of Jesus Christ, it will be meted out in hell forever.
