Midnight will be the start of Sept. 3rd 2016 in Israel, that will be the Rapture of our Lord.

What I hate is that they are behaving counter to Scripture, which says very clearly that no-one knows the day or the hour, only God himself.

I am afraid not; that is just a metaphor. It means the stars will fall in the same way as figs fall, not that it will be winter.

See above; NOBODY knows when it will be; only God himself.

I don't believe her. I believe what the Bible says.

I believe it to be intellectually, emotionally and spiritually unhealthy to live your life in constant expectation of the "end times". It is far better to live your life in such a way as to make this a better world, not just today but into the far distant future.

Aside from that, these end-times prophesies have a 100% track record --- 100% wrong, 100% of the time.

Attempting to make this determination by any means concocted by anyone using any related scriptural backing should never be done

And how many forget one simple verse that says NO MAN will know the day nor the hour? Perhaps we will know the week, the month and the year. But we will not know the day. However, we can GUESS...as on the feast of Trumpets.

William Miller of the SDA "church" dated the time with three different datings and all three were obviously wrong .... many of the oranization's members committed suicide when his predictions did not come to pass

Then Ellen G. White of the SDA tried to explain by concocting what she called the investigative judgment .... that the Lord did in fact return to begin judging the dead, but in heaven, not on the earth

This kind of behavior is perverted
