Judging by your own posts, you yourself are against the majority of Syrians. You're against Syrian rebels supported by the US, you're against the Kurds, you're against Syrian Arabs who support the government, which is a majority of the population.

I'm not against the Kurds in general. I am against the YPG and affiliates for allying with the regime against the rebels. I'm against policies that tell rebels they can only fight against ISIS and not Assad. I'm against targeting of rebel groups, particularly when the regime is completely ignored. I'm against anyone who supports the regime which is definitely not the majority of the population.

The majority of the population is comprised of Sunnis. Anyone who thinks the majority supports the regime in its genocide against the majority (i.e. Sunnis) is deluded.

Maybe you actually support the plight of the civilians in the areas held by those extremists, but we don't know, since you have never shown any concern for the plight of civilians in the rest of Syria's war zones.

Oh, the plight of the civilians in the areas held by extremists isn't as bad as the plight of the civilians under rebel-held territory since the extremists use barrel bombs, cluster munitions, chemical weapons, and incendiary bombs indiscriminately against the civilians in the rebel areas to the extent that they have killed ~200k civilians (~96% of the documented civilian casualties). The rebels, on the other hand, have collectively killed ~3.4k of the documented civilians (~2% of the documented civilian casualties). It is the civilians in rebel-held areas, not the extremist-held areas, who are being starved to death by the extremists (i.e regime) besieging them.

Rebels saying this is the biggest offensive yet and will be a turning point for the conflict. Apparently there are more surprises in store for the regime that they will not be expecting. Are you referring to the last video I posted? It's true that Muslims say "Allaahu Akbar" for everything, but the way it was called is different - it was much longer, was called from the mosque (loudspeakers), and part of it is what we may say on 'Eid day. To those in besieged Aleppo, they took it as an announcement of good news.

Also the brief look I've done indicates that the rebels are not on the verge of some kind of huge victory.

Morale is very high among the rebels and the civilians in opposition territory. They have surpassed their own expectations of the progress in the short time they began the offensive. They were confident in breaking the siege (still to be done) but didn't anticipate taking so much land in such little time. It took the regime ~2 years, with attacks intensified last month, to besiege eastern Aleppo and it took the rebels a couple of days to regain key locations. Here are the observations of some of those who have been watching the Syrian conflict closely:

This tyre shop in Idlib donated its supply of tyres to the people of Aleppo so that Assad/Russia can't bomb them.

But some of the people on this thread would have you believe that these people are forced or intimidated to support the rebels and that the civilians don't actually think the rebels liberating them is liberation.

The rebels are in phase 3 of the offensive (and I believe the last phase). Apparently they are in control of (most of?) the Artillery College (check map in first quote below)!! This is huge news because it contains, according to one source, ~2 years worth of weapons which is why the regime is trying to keep it at all costs. Fighting is still ongoing; Hezbollah has launched a counteroffensive.

It looks like the rebels might break the siege today. Amazing, uplifting news. All praises belong to Him, Who is enough for the believers even if almost the entire world is against them as they seem to be in Syria.

“Finally I feel a small sense of hope returning and feel like life might be possible again. I can barely afford to live in Aleppo but I was born here and will die here. I have endured so much but I can take even more bombing – the only thing I cannot take is leaving my home.”
