Can you be good without God?

If I made a bucket to hold water and it didn't hold water, the bucket would be responsible for leaking, but I'd be rather embarrassed and I'd expect a fair amount of critical comment for making a leaky bucket.

If God created us to obey Him and we don't obey Him, then He made a pretty poor fist of it. Now if He'd created us to behave just the way we do He might get a bit more kudos; but it would ill behove Him to blame us for not being different.

LOL, being made in the image of God, Adam and Eve had the choice of obedience or disobedience. They chose to break God's law. In so doing, they condemned their offspring to lawbreaking with no personal choice to gain pardon, except by God's choice in the matter.

It was God's design to have this happen. Only God fully know why He chose this path. Whining, however, does not change God's sovereign path. All whining does is make you look like a whiner.

Suck it up. Confess you lawbreaking ways and seek God's pardon through Yeshua, Jesus, atonement on your behalf.

Anything else is just you being a whiny child who refuses to admit his wrong doing.

Communism and Atheism are juxtaposed. Atheists killed, murdered, maimed millions in the last century and they continue to this day. Own it.

Which is funny, because I'm an atheist and believe strongly in a regulated capitalist form of government.

Most atheists I know share my views. Likewise, most non-religious countries, like those in Scandinavia and the rest of Europe are not communist. So while you may be juxtaposing the two groups, they are not the same.

But, if you really want to go down that route, Nazi Germany was overwhelmingly Christian, and the teachings of Christian churches can be directly credited for all the anti-Semitism present at that time. Martin Luther's work "On the Jews and their lies" was Hitler's direct inspiration for the holocaust.

So if you want to play the body count game, I'm all for it. We can tie millions of deaths directly to Christian teachings, however atheism as far as I know wasn't directly responsible for any.
