He died!! He is nowhere until the resurrection. I do not believe you go to either hell or heaven at death. The judgment day the wicked are given their sentence, the dead saved are resurrected on Christ's return. I know you believe something else.
I know the bible believes something else.

I believe that there are seven churches...

John 10:16
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

There are seven folds to the flock of the Christ according to Revelation 1-3...

Ephesus - Messianic - Peter
Smyrna - Martyr - Paul
Pergamos - Orthodox - Constantine
Thyatira - Catholic - Charlemange
Sardis - Protestant - Martin Luther
Philadelphia - Revived - John Wesley
Laodicea - Charismatic - DL Moody, the first to get rich off ministry.

And if Mormonism is indeed Christian, and if they have what it takes to be considered Christian on the last day, I wonder where they would fit under? They have elements of the Sardisean and the Philadelphian church congregations woven into their doctrine.

Are you kidding??? So where is John??? This in no way says that he will live until Jesus returns!!! You guys really do not read the bible do you?? It is explained in the very next verse!!! And you quoted it!!!

Joh 21:22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
Joh 21:23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
Take a deep breath, you are going to have a heart attack, and over whether John is alive or not. Is that worth having a heart attack? I really do love you (in a gospel way), so take it easy.

Do you know what the word "translated" means? It means changed from mortal to a temporary state where the person is not subject to death, but at a time in the future, will die and be resurrected.

Mormons believe John was translated and will be here until Jesus comes his 2nd time.

Where is the fold of Jerusalem, or the fold of Rome, of Antioch, of Alexandria, of Carthage, of Hippo, just to name a few other folds in Jesus's flock. Do you think there are only 7 folds? Not sure what you are saying. Clue us all in, Thanks.

Jesus is the Door to Eternal Life. There is no Celestial Kingdom.
The bible does say in 1 Cor. 15, that there are Celestial resurrected bodies, and Terrestrial resurrected bodies. The Celestial bodies have a glory that is compared to the glory of the sun. The Terrestrial bodies have a glory that is compared to the glory of the moon. And then it says also that there are bodies that have a glory that is compared to the glory of the stars.

This strongly implies there is a Celestial kingdom of Celestial bodies with a glory as compared to the sun, and a Terrestrial kingdom of Terrestrial bodies, with a glory as compared to the moon, and a no-name kingdom (which JS learned was the Telestial kingdom), with Telestial bodies, with a glory as compared to the stars.

Tell us how there was no priesthood on earth until it was restored to Joseph Smith.
There were people on the earth who held the priesthood from Adam until now. No time when there was nobody who held the priesthood. Otherwise lucifer and the gates of hell would have prevailed agianst Jesus, the Lamb of God.

Who held the priesthood and where were the converts (every member a missionary)?

"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints affirms that there has been a universal apostasy, and that the gospel, the priesthood, the organizarion and government of the Church could be restored as they were first given, by divinely sent messengers and by revelation, and in no other way."
James L. Barker, Apostasy from the Divine Church, p. 5

Before Aaron came along, going back to Adam, who held the Aaronic priesthood? Before Melchizedek was introduced, who held that priesthood? Or are you suggesting a third priesthood?

Regardless, you have no evidence of such things.

It was the higher priesthood first

They aren't human bodies and there is no Telestial body OR kingdom. Joseph Smith was a teller of tales.

We can't help Jesus save us ---- He is omnipotent. We don't obey Him to be deserving of eternal life. We obey Him because we want to fulfill our duty. We love Him because He first loved us. What is unchristian is to claim that Jesus' sacrifice is conditional instead of merciful.

Lamentations 3
22 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

It certainly is conditional. If I do not believe and get baptized, I am not going to be saved. (Mark 16:16) No matter how Omnipotent, no matter how merciful Jesus wants to be, if a person doesn't do what Jesus says to do, his mercy will be withheld. For he says, if you do not believe on me you will be damned. (Mark 16:16)

Jesus in Mark 16:16 sets the conditions for him saving you to: believing and getting baptized. Do you disagree with this?

Mercy can't be conditional. We can't earn it.

He that believeth not shall be damned. See John Chapter Three.

You are right, but they are immortal resurrected bodies of flesh and bone and spirit, just ask Jesus (Luke 24:36-43).

You wouldn't have the name of the kingdom of immortal resurrected bodies that have glory that is compared to that of the stars, if not for JS. He is a giver of information. Information he learned from Jesus Christ.

Your statements contradict each other. If mercy was truly unconditional it would not require a person to believe (note: believing is an act).

Note: no one is saying anything about mercy being earned.

Jesus never "knew" anyone who refused to repent.

Are you saying that resurrected humans become inhuman?
