This is best Facebook post I've seen about these cups:

Facebook: *pst* Group #1 is super offended about something.
Group #2: Seriously?? That's idiotic. How could anyone actually care about that?
Group #1: Hold on. We are definitely not offended by that. Literally no one cares.
Group #2: Wait, so absolutely no one is offended, and no one cares AT ALL?
Group #1: That's how things look over here.
Media: CONTROVERSY!!

No they don't. Starbucks and their marketing department are inventing this "controversy" out of whole cloth. Nobody cares about it. There is no outrage. There's plenty of outrage over the outrage though.

Okay, I stand corrected. There is outrage. Apparently, liberals are outraged by it.
Why are you linking a non-Liberal whining about Starbucks cups to "prove" your point. In fact, it was all started by a former pastor. A very right wing, fundamentalist former pastor. Oh and Fox News. And then encouraged by Donald Trump. All right wing. Every one of them.

Starbucks' new red holiday cups caught some serious buzz this weekend after an Arizona evangelist said that the company "removed Christmas" from its cups "because they hate Jesus.”

There are also Christians right here on CF complaining about it.

So rewrite history all you like, but the facts will always be the facts.

Sorry, I should have put "liberal" in quotes.

There are very few things I care less about than coffee cups at a place I never patronize.

No kidding. I don't even drink coffee. But it's still pretty funny seeing people get worked up about it. These are people who are sufficiently privileged to choose their problems, and then choose badly.

I don't understand what is so bad about the new cups.

I think the same red cups, are being used at Starbucks in Europe, but the only outrage, is in America.

Well the UK seems to treat Christianity like a disposable red cup. From an American's perspective, the UK is slowly growing as intolerant to Christianity as China has been. I heard about things over there that make bakers selling cakes to gay couples look like nothing.

From what I understand, Christians in Europe don't feign outrage at every little thing that happens like the evangelicals do here. They have more important things to do than complain about red cups that didn't even say "Merry Christmas" to begin with.

Americans see the results from such things as they grow over time by looking at places like the UK. It starts out as a snowball and rolls into something much bigger. There's things that progressives do over there that they couldn't get away with here, and conservatives aim to keep it that way.

That can't be...I thought China was a primary supporter of Christianity. Hobby Lobby buys a lot of their stuff from China and Hobby Lobby has deeply held Christian beliefs. There's no way Hobby Lobby would support a country that is antagonistic toward the word of Christ!

Correction: from your perspective.

That does look like nothing. Bakers sell cakes to people. It's part of the job description. Bake things and sell them to people.

Such as what? Atheists serving in public office?
