Also, if you're gonna mudsling Calvin, at least check your facts. If you're talking about his relation to Michael Servetus [who constitutes a single person, not "innocent people"], he was burned at the stake for denying the Trinity, a heresy.
Yes Calvin was directly responsible for the burning at the stake of only one innocent person. However under his leadership strict laws were enacted that lead to the deaths of many others. He bears the responsibility for those deaths as well.
Lot's of people were burned at the stake, and some of your idols no doubt did the same.
Actually I have no idols from that period save for Princess Pocahontas, who never burned anyone at the stake. Despite being a Lutheran I recognize Martin Luther's shortcomings--he is not an idol of mine.
