Also, if you're gonna mudsling Calvin, at least check your facts. If you're talking about his relation to Michael Servetus [who constitutes a single person, not "innocent people"], he was burned at the stake for denying the Trinity, a heresy.

Yes Calvin was directly responsible for the burning at the stake of only one innocent person. However under his leadership strict laws were enacted that lead to the deaths of many others. He bears the responsibility for those deaths as well.

Lot's of people were burned at the stake, and some of your idols no doubt did the same.

Actually I have no idols from that period save for Princess Pocahontas, who never burned anyone at the stake. Despite being a Lutheran I recognize Martin Luther's shortcomings--he is not an idol of mine.

I have known 4 sleepwalkers in my family, and have interacted with 2 of them in that state, but none of them slept nude, so I can't really be helpful.

Of the 2 I dealt with, they never remembered anything about their "adventures" the next day. Most authorities I've heard say that a sleepwalking person retains their typical moral and behavioral codes (similar to hypnosis).

My wife and I sleep nude, but we don't sleepwalk.

Many of my friends and family members are comfortable with my nudity in real life.

This may be strange to most people, but I would almost always rather be completely nude, especially in nature. I'm 27 and I've been somewhat of a closet nudist for the last 10 years of my life. Theres nothing sexual about it for me, it just makes me feel happy and free. I'm never naked in front of anyone who is offended by it. It's usually just my wife and close friends who aren't bothered by nudity.

My question is, do you think there's something wrong with me? Is this sinful behavior, or do you find nothing wrong with it? Thanks.

I don't think the Lord would endorse this based on his holiness, I know the Bible cant justify it, getting naked is for sexual intimacy with your spouse and visits to the Doctor, disrobing in the outdoors runs the risk of others seeing you in cognito , it also runs the risk of injury to your sensitive body parts , there is no sound reason for doing it, it doesn't fall into the realm of sacredness and holiness which God calls us too , God covered up Adam and Eve with figleafs , and overall taking into account the whole gammit of Scripture and how we are to live modestly and appropriately....it is a very poor choice and not one a Born Again Believer of CHrist should entertain. Additionally, if you are caught by law enforcement being nude in public, youll get a citation for indecency and will have to go to court to plead your case ; any Judge will find you guilty and youll pay a fine of approx. $300+ and probably have to do community service and put on probation .

Id like to suggest as a Brother in CHrist, that you find other resourceful things to do with your time instead of those that are congruent with a Person of the World. Blessings, Dave.

Then why did St. Peter fish while naked in plain sight of the shore? Based on surviving images from the time it was apparently common practice.

Before there were bathrooms and showers people used to bathe in a lake or river so there was more nudity than you think back then.

And when the USA was just native American Indians some tribes were not against nudity and they were living here first. So Americans did not always wear clothes.

When I was in Mexico and out in a small village evangelizing. I was surprised to people using the bathroom down by the river and showering in their house were people walking by could see them. When I was in Ecuador the missionary said there was a lot of family sex in front of each other because they only had money to build a 2 room house.
In the north country, of the US lots of people used to sleep in the same bad, same sex and opposite sex, to stay warm in the winter.
We don't realize how much of our ethic has been formed because we have enough money to build big houses were almost everyone has indoor plumbing and their one personal bedroom. The rich have always had these things. But it is all in the last 100 yrs or so that the middle class has come about and are rich enough to also have these big places to live.

I was briefly shocked by a scene in the movie "Dances with Wolves," where Costner and McDonell are sleeping in the Medicine Man's teepee on opposite sides; and in the middle the Medicine man and his wife are having sex. Then I thought about it. Most of our ancestors lived in single room tents for thousands of years. That sort of thing had to have gone on all the time.
