This will probably get moved, but all my friends are here, so...
I was just coming home from the northwest end of town to past the southwest end of town and further south. Going west on Maple, I turned right to enter the on ramp to 80 West. I noticed a woman pulled over a nd looking up, so I looked up as I rounded the ramp and merged onto the highway.
I saw a dark, oblong (almost cylindrical) object, rounded ends, about 4 white lights on one end, and one red light on the other. It sat stock still in the sky, but I didn't get a chance to make accurate comparisons for a scale perspective.
Besides, I had to get home and whoever they are, it angers me that they sneak around and don't share helpful technologies. So I just drove on and forgot about until 15 minutes later as I exit 80West to get on HWY50 south, I see it yet still as can be, but now I have enough distance on it to see that it is about as big as a football field and about 4000ft up.
I went on home anyway. I don't trust them. Why aren't they helping us.
It just angers me.

I told a guy at work today, and he said he found some reports that people had seen 3 of them.
Whatever.
One of those things ya can't do anything about, I guess.

I'm done with that. I've personally seen too much.
It's not even a big deal anymore.
I just want to stand up about it in case somebody out there think they are the only one seeing something.

I remember how flabbergasted I was when chemtrails first showed up and nearly 99% of people did not notice and could not tell the difference between them and contrails. It made me crazy.

Eventually people learned how to tell the difference - vapor disappears, chemtrails stay there for a while ... by contrails you meant the vapor, right?

I don't remember what year it was... seems like the late 80s.

I remember going from being spooked by the trails to being spooked by the ignorance... cognitive dissonance... denial. It was pretty unsettling.

I saw a rocket go up one time and we called NASA and they denied they had any launches that day. It might have been a secret government launch.

What's an airship?

Think Hindenburg, but roll the technology forward about 80 years. Instead of duralumin, carbon composites. Non reflective, radar absorbing, and anechoic coatings. 1000 feet long, or longer, with a radar cross section the size of sea gull. Heat from propulsion motors cooled internally before release (takes a lot of internal air to do that, but we're talking a huge critter here, being lofted by huge amounts of helium or whatever LTA gas they favor these days, so lot of place to dissipate waste heat). Able to "hover" on micro thrusters and inherent bouyancy for long periods of tome, or cruise in the 100 knot range. Stealthy as hell, yeah, but equipped with radar reflectors and running lights if they want to operate where there's the possibility of coming into conflict with other air traffic (i.e., if you want to go cruise across the US).

Good for what? Beats the tar outta me. Good evidence the the US military is operating critters like this. though. Seems to me they'd be sitting ducks in a shooting war, and their stealth wouldn't help them much in the daytime. Mobile command centers? Forward ATC? Future presidential yachts? Quien sabe? Sounds just like what you're describing, though.

Naw, I grew up watching the Goodyear blimp advertise the Indy 500 mile race, and the Blue Angel jets would practice maneuvers overhead, so I was used to looking up and judging scale.
I do believe we have a "secret government" of the Inteligence - Financial Industrial complex.

Yeah, I could care less at this point about verification.
I had a flip phone, but I don't know how to post photos from it.
I surf on a kindle, I won't pay $30 a month for internet on a phone.
