Y doesn't mean that everyone who prays for healing focuses on wealth and walks after miracles without knowing Him.

Im not suggesting otherwise. Im focussed only on the scriptures we are using in this thread.

Jesus and the disciples did miracles too and He said we would do even bigger ones. It's not the most important thing, but some people only get saved when they see signs and wonders.

No, Jesus said to His disciples that they would do bigger miracles than HE did. He didnt however say we would do bigger miracles than his disciples did. He wasn't necessarily talking to anyone else other than his disciples who then became apostles later on. Miracles are a sign of an Apostle, that doesnt mean that only Apostles can do healing miracles, but it does mean that not all disciples can heal. And that agrees with Pauls words that some are apostles, some have the gift of healing but not all. Its a sign thing. I need no signs because i already believe that Paul is an Apostle and i follow His teaching. The anti Christ will use lying signs and wonders to deceive people in the last days too. Signs are an important part of our doctrine.

I often wonder what sings the apostles did that were greater than the Lord himself did. Maybe someone can show me an example of one. I also wonder if the Lord may have been talking about something different than we think he was talking about.

I Always heard it was not only for them, the signs will follow the believers and that it meant quantity.

Thats what some preachers teach but that's not necessarily the truth. The truth is that we are speculating about what Christ meant. We dont really know for sure. Jesus also said that people will know his followers by the love they have for each other, and there is no speculation involved in understanding that. Paul seems to suggest that love is greater than miracles, in my opinion.

Yes and the world would know He sent us when we're one like They are one. It's just that Jesus told that one man he wouldn't believe unless he saw signs and wonders and he and his whole family got saved, so doing a miracle is also out of love. I got saved because of asking for signs too and I know people who got saved when they saw miracles.

The bible also says that those miracles were recorded in the bible so that we who read about them would believe. The apostles recorded the event so we would believe. So we dont need to see miracles to believe, we need only the Holy Spirit and the scriptures.

Some people don't need it, others do in order to believe He exists, you can't expect an atheist to believe the miracles written in the Bible because the Bible says so. Muslims need a vision from Jesus a lot of times to get convinced. So many people are getting saved on the Streets here when they get healed, muslims too, 10/15 a day with those people on Facebook that I follow, just regular believers stepping out.

What you are doing here is creating an IMPOSSIBLE scenario which renders Jesus' words invalid. For if he was speaking only of works as in quality, we still would fall short of "greater works"...

The greater works are referring to quantity not quality, because Jesus would later say "because I am going to the Father." So us with our 30, 40, 50+ years of ministry will do more works in number if we believe.

Is it even possible to out "quality" Jesus in anything? I dont think so.

Im referring specifically to the scriptures that teach us about walking by faith not sight. Im not talking about whether all things are possible with God. Its possible that God will give me a million dollars but its not promised. Timothy needed medication so even though it was possible for God to heal him, God didn't heal him.

No, im trying to establish what the apostles teach as apposed to what preachers teach. I have good reason to question what preachers teach us. I have good reason to follow the scriptures as they were intended to be followed.

Truth is never an impossible scenario. Just because we may not understand something doesn't mean we need to invent a meaning for it. All we need to do is understand that we do not understand it. In that way we still walk in the truth. However if we invent a meaning for something we dont understand then we are no longer walking in the truth. We dont need to understand everything, we just need to walk in the truth.

Just so we are clear, I can never agree with someone who says they believe in healing just not all the time... that is a biblical contradiction. For God's very nature is to heal...
