So then the bible is wrong ? (remember in Genesis 7)
See, that's the problem. When you start with doubt, it clouds your mind.
The account is an
actual account of events that happened.
Now, as a fairy tail, or a edict by the church, or a morality fable,
then it would be incorrect.
"
It said ALL so it must be declaring that every single last bug dies."
But here's the thing....it's an actual account.
So when Noah stands on the deck of the Ark, he looks around,
and he sees that "all the creeping things died."
If you were part of Noah's family, who retold the story, then you'd
say the same thing. All the people and all the land animals and all
the creeping things all perished. All those gardens and trees,
all gone.
That what YOU would say if you were there.
That's the problem with not believing that the story is true.
If you try to turn it into a fairy tail, then you have problems...like HEY?
How did those darn bugs survive when the fairy tale said they all perished?
But it's not a fairy tale or a proclamation by some Pope.
It's a story told by men about what they saw happen.
Every animal not on the Ark perished. That's the way the passengers saw it.
The truth can be told without being 100% accurate.
