Yes, and twice even. In 2008 (with 69,498,516 votes and 365 electoral votes against McCain's 59,948,323 votes and 173 electoral votes), as well as in 2012 (with 65,915,796 votes and 332 electoral votes against Romneys 60,933,500 votes and 206 electoral votes)

You don't have to be a fan of Obama. I'm not; I was hoping for a different result in 2008 as well as 2012.
But that doesn't change the fact that a majority of the American voters wanted something else.

Newsflash: Having a different opinion on politics than you, does not make someone not Christian.
The funny thing is, that based on your rhetoric and style, I can pretty accurately predict that you're the type who claims that everything Christian began with their own little personal cult, or storefront mom-and-pop-church, who claims that the KJV is the ONLY word of God, and blabbers on about the freemasons and illuminati and NWO, and coming concentration camps, etc.....

And those types are impossible to take seriously.

The funniest thing is just above this post: Obama is apparently BOTH a socialist/communist AND the bankers' man......at the same time. Hey, he's probably also a libertarian nazi fascist social democrat, right??

:D :D

You mean like you do? You seem to make Christianity into nothing more than a means for your own agenda of being a klaxxon, screaming about NWO, and commmunist socialist bankers' puppets, to make yourself appear interesting.

Perhaps you have missed the prophecy part of your Bible??

There are no free elections in this country. The president has already been decided long before the little "activity" we call elections. Whole counties had not one vote for Romney in 2012. That is impossible. Our elections are no longer free.
OMW. You probably even believe this. *SMH*

Over 50% of the electorate voted for him. The alternative was a heretical false Christian who belonged to a cult.

So...it was truly the lesser of 2 evils. Why can't y'all just quit worrying about all this mess? Either God is in control or He isn't. The way y'all worry about this stuff shows that you don't really believe God is in control. If you truly believe that the Lord will work all out to His plan and power, you won't spend one second worrying about this.

So many miss the point...
This is ordained of God.
All the ruined economy, destruction of our military, homosexual marriagges, taking our rights away to serve God as we please, Priests not allowed to serve God from their pulpits in the military etc. etc.

This generation shall not pass until all be fulfilled.
The beginning of sorrows.

...destruction of our military?

I'm not worried about anything and I know that God is in control. Does that mean I should remain clueless?

As far as the election is concerned, he was the "chosen" candidate chosen by the global elites. He was dishonestly pumped up by the mainstream media and it appeared that God had purposely blinded many to the truth of Barack Obama because they looked as if they were possessed when they saw him with their crazy fainting and crying.

Mitt Romney never, to my knowledge, called himself a Christian. However, I dealt with the problem this way: One candidate was a shallow, Marxist, who favors infanticide and wanted to make "fundamental changes" to my country which was doing far better than other countries. Some call those people, "empty suits". The other candidate was deceived spiritually, very experienced in finance, a much more politically experienced candidate and most of all, he was a good human being. The other was not. Who got elected? Go figure.

Oh, I forgot, the first candidate was deceived spiritually too.

Sending young men to deserts and jungles for five or six tours of duty, sending gays into combat, decreasing spending on the military, treating vets with overdoses of pain medicine to keep them from complaining of pain, all of these things and probably many things we don't know about weakens and demoralizes our military. We have not won a war since WWII and I don't believe that we will ever because the politicians try to direct it, not the military. The wars we fight today have no purpose except to cause chaos and destruction.

War isn't necessarily about winning. War can be about aiding another country. My husband has taken part in many conflicts and he could tell you that although the US military, per se, cannot post any points on a board and claim that they 'won' a war, they have given aid to countries which were badly in need of defense against tyranny. And I am not talking about Bush lying and leading everyone in a dance hunting for non-existent WMDs, I am talking about wars in Bosnia, and various conflicts in Africa.

You couldn't be more wrong. You need to go and look at some objective measures of how poorly America compares to many other countries and has compared for a long time.

There are no free elections in this country. The president has already been decided long before the little "activity" we call elections.

Prove it.
And not just with "I didn't lie who won!"

Whole counties had not one vote for Romney in 2012. That is impossible.

Impressive. But not impossible. What, Reagan won 49 out of 50 states. Was that fraud too?

Our elections are no longer free.

Prove it!

Newsflash: abortion is not political. It is moral. Christians shouldn't be in favor of it.

Agreed. And I haven't seen anyone here who are? I certainly have not expressed any kind of support for it.

How do you know so much about me?

I was actually talking to Louise, but you seem to fit as well. And the answer is: I know your type all too well. The type that give Christians a bad name as conspiracy theorists and nutjobs.

And hopefully you can see that I search for truth, not what the news media calls truth.

You want to toot your own horn about how special you are for having discovered the communist-fascist-nazi-libertarian illuminati freemason conspiracy to abduct us all to alien zoos. "Truth"? Please.....

Throwing stones at me for being different reminds me of the behavior of the Pharisees.

No, yours is the behavior that is similar to theirs. They too were completely resistent towards the possibility that they were wrong, and that their opinions weren't true. They were too focused on insignificant details of the Law to see the fact that Christ had come to set people free of the slavery of the law.
The same with your type. You obsess over your own made-up rules, definitions and ideas, and pretend that everyone else is wrong.

Over 50% of the electorate voted for him. The alternative was a heretical false Christian who belonged to a cult.

To be honest, I'd rather have an open heretic than a Christian-in-name-only who belonged to a racist black supremacist "church" for decades.

Perhaps you have missed the prophecy part of your Bible??

1:
Perhaps you missed the part of it not mentioning America in it?
<-- this

2: No, I just do a thorough study of the Bible, including, but by no means limited to, studying the opinion of wise Christians that have come before me, in order to get some help coming to a conclusion that isn't just pulled out of the body part I'm sitting on.

I am talking about wars in Bosnia, and various conflicts in Africa.

Bosnia? Bosnia, and Kosovo, was an opportunity for Clinton to divert attention away from his own problems, by having a nice little war with clear bad guys pointed out, with no regard whatsoever for the facts on the ground.
The "intervention" in Yugoslavia was a clear case of "Hey, these guys are fighting. That guy overthere is slightly bigger and better at hitting back when he's hit. He must be the bad guy!"

So Clinton paved the way for ethnic cleansing on an unprecedented scale. Yugoslavia was not anywhere near NATO's business, and it was one of the few moments over the years where I have regretted the demise of the USSR. Even Gorbachov wouldn't have let NATO walk all over Yugoslavia like that.

I don't have anything against those conflicts. I am, however, getting involved in countries because of "harboring terrorists" and "WMDS" and "gassing the people when it's not clear who did the gassing". Or, like Viet Nam, which was so badly wanted that the CIA had to kill an anti-war president in order to get there.

Well, IMO, those who aren't happy here can go live in those countries they consider better.

I'm happy with Capitalism and I didn't want his "fundamental change".

And I don't have any money.

Jesus told us these things. Was He obsessed and all doom and gloom? Apparently, your Bible doesn't contain prophecy either?

Once again, you need to acknowledge the possibility that maybe the end ISN'T imminent. Remember our previous discussion? People have been predicting the end of the world, and saying the signs are 'obvious' for thousands of years. They've all been wrong, and with an unbroken track record like that, its probably more sensible to think of anyone claiming 'the end is nigh' as a Harold Camping than a Noah.

No matter how much we dislike Obama, I REALLY doubt he's the ant-Christ, or even particularly contributing to any sort of end time acceleration.
