Hi! You can think the old man or sin nature is gone, but that would mean we cannot sin any more. One has to have the old man to sin, and it's not true that we do not sin any more. Thanks for your reply!

Thus, having destroyed the old man at our water baptism into Christ and into His death, burial, and resurrection, (Rom 6:6), allows us to live faithfully henceforth !
"For he that is dead is freed from sin." (Rom 6:7)
