  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, if you do not understand the significance that is shown in that incredible piece of work then there will be nothing else anyone can say or do to convince you. Or you Big Fudge.

May God bless you both in the times to come

I understand very well what he is saying, I also know he is making some critical miscalculations so his work is in error.

Ok. I've watched the video too. If I understand it correctly, he said that the Jewish altar would be "shut down" in February of 2013. Anyone know if that's happened?

It has not. That is the only incorrect date in the video relating to the start of the tribulation. It was an unforseeable mistake that does not affect the date of March 22, 2013; the date PRESENTED and PROVEN to be the start of the great tribulation.

Here is how this mistake was made:

Daniel

{12:11} And
from the time the daily sacrifice shall be taken
away,
and the abomination that maketh desolate set up,
a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

As you can clearly see, there is no way to know whether Daniel saw these events occurring at two different days, as presented in the Daniel Timeline, or on THE SAME DAY.

That is the error. Both of these events will take place on the same day, instead of two separate days. That day will be March 22, 2013.

Praise Be to God

It's not "proven" until it happens.

You know, it is fascinating that you would think people would be ecstatic at even the PROSPECT of Christ coming back in this time, and even more so that it appears he chose US, those living RIGHT NOW to see and experience it.

I dread that the times of his return, just like when Christ walked the earth 2000 years ago, will be met by unbelief and scoffing.

The people back then said the same things..... that believers in the prophetic timeline to show Christ as the Messiah, arriving exactly WHEN and HOW it was prophesied he would; were misinterpreting the prophecies and therefore, this Jesus of Nazareth could not possibly be the Messiah.

But yet he was and IS. Once again, history repeating. Praise God, this time will be the LAST time. I am excited. I believe the evidence is overwhelming. I believe God gave us those clues because if he expected us to watch, he would show us when.

He also held the Jews responsible because they "knew not the time of their visitation". Yet, some think we will not be?

Come Lord Jesus

What A joke! The only way the Tribulation Starts is when the Church Leaves this Earth at the Rapture. What A Joke people are setting dates again.

All will experience the tribulation which is a time of great deception. To wait for a rapture is how one is deceived.

Sorry but no. I will not experience The Tribulation. You will because you believe you will. The Rapture is real and I don't care what so called Doctrine there is about no rapture. It is all over the Bible. I am sorry that people is the Church don't believe this it is really sad that everyone wants to be here when the Anti-Christ tries to rule the Earth. Jesus said he was coming again and he is. One for the Church then a Second time to rule.

The problem with all that is that it's not in the Bible. It's how some people string together certain biblical passages together, but it's not biblical teaching. If all of this were so clear, then we'd have evidence of Christians believing this before the modern era, but in spite of misquotes from St. Irenaeus and an anonymous seemingly modern re-writing of the medieval apocalypse of Pseudo-Ephraem, there really isn't anything to substantiate this as something anyone in Christianity believed until the time of Darby in the early 19th century.

The reason why the vast majority of Christians don't and have never believed in this stuff is that it's a modern theological innovation. It's the same reason that the majority of Christians don't subscribe to the Adventist belief in the "Investigative Judgment", or don't accept that after Jesus' ascension He showed up in the Americas as the Mormons teach, and don't believe that faith = wealth as the Prosperity Hucksters preach. These are modern ideas that have never had a place in the historic faith of the Christian Church and are without biblical warrant.

Are you?

The reason I'm not particularly concerned is because I'm doing Luke 12:43. In Jesus' viewpoint, being "watchful" means being caught busy doing one's assigned task.

{3:3} Remember
therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast,
and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on
thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will
come upon thee.

This is a DIRECT implication that we are to watch. It directly implies that IF WE ARE WATCHING, that day will not come upon us as a surprise.

The only way to make this unclear is to attempt to distort it with symbolism, when there is no reason to think it is anything other than literal.

Another concern I have after watching the video is that he's claiming (as I understand it), that 3/22/13 will be midpoint of the tribulation. He says on that day the AoD will occur, a flood will occur, and the Jews will begin fleeing Israel. So we aren't looking for "something significant" to happen, but a set of things that would be irrefutable.

And if 3/22 is the midpoint, that means we've been living in the first half of Daniel's 70th week already. There have been no events in the last 3 1/2 years that match any of the Seals, Trumpets, Bowls.

Have I misunderstood the video?

What are you doing while you're "watching?" Bringing anyone to Jesus in the meantime?

For the record. How many people have you personally lead to Christ?

I think there have been a couple, but I suspect I only watered. I've taken care of more.

The missions Christ gave the Church:

1. Make disciples of all nations
2. Take care of one another

Have you ever thought about what from the world will remain after "heaven and earth pass away?" What can you do in this world will still remain?

A man may say "I designed the Titanic," but after "heaven and hell pass away," no one will care.

A man may say "I was once president of the United States"--but after "heaven and hell pass away," no one will care.

But someone may say, "I remember you--you told me about Jesus." And that will remain after "heaven and hell pass away."

Or someone may say, "I remember you--you gave me food when I was hungry." And that will remain after "heaven and hell pass away."

Fair and valid question.

That's the entire problem with these conspiracy-obsessed eschatology "pundits" is that they implicitly reject the mandate of Christianity. Instead of committing themselves to a life of prayer, repentance and devotion to Christ and his Church in the Holy Mysteries, they are satisfied to lock themselves away in a spiritually cloistered lifestyle and inundate themselves with hundreds of low-rent conspiracy theorist websites - feeding a desire for titillation.

If the rapture is about to happen, what Christians need to be doing is not just preaching the Gospel but praying for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.

Matt 25:At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
