1 Corinthians 14:3
"But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort." 1 Thessalonians 5:20
"Despise not prophesyings."
I couldn't understand some of the audio but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that they're from two different interpretations of Scripture. I didn't look at his website but he probably believes that the spiritual gifts are not for today and definitely doesn't believe in miracles - he's not alone. Basically his comments were - you don't interpret Scripture the way I do, you are twisting Scripture, you're message is false, ETC. but I'm the one with the truth.
And I'm not knocking the message of the cross in anyway.
He knew when he went there were differences in interpretation of Scripture. I wonder what his motive was for going. He was very upset about being prophesied to and she got upset in response to his comments but it doesn't mean the prophetic word was incorrect. Some times prophetic words aren't received
but that isn't the prophets' responsibility. One of the lessons learned is not to fear man. Matt 10 "And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet." But since he was in her meeting place, then of course he would need to depart.
Including a few personal prophecies from the NT: Paul prophesied such as in Acts 13:9 and was prophesied to as in Acts 21. Also, he told Timothy -. I Tim 1:18 "This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare."
In regards to the host's comments, the Biblical examples of Yahweh giving a message from Him to someone else are too numerous to list.
