Gary being part of the Christian forums is a great way to learn pray and be part of the Body of Christ. The forum members are often Pastors Teachers and Elders . They love to help you learn and walk with our lord with knowlage . Sometimes there are different views among the faith groups here, oftentimes debates that become intense. Study the word of God and ask as many questions as your heart desires allow The Holy Spirit to guide you and teach you . When you hear teaching always test it with asking what does the Bible say? God has given us the victory over death hell and the grave,Through Christ all things are possible. God bless and ask all you want, but don't be tossed around with every faith group here it would confuse you and God is not the author of confusion........ welcome from your brothers and sisters in Christ!

It is imposable for a believer to be a false prophet. A false prophet is always an unbeliever who wants you to be an unbeliever also. The false prophet is always a "wolf in sheep's clothing." They are "WOLVES," not sheep. A wolf is not a Christan.
A Christian who makes bad prophesies and mistakes like this are not false prophets. They are merely Christians who are making serious mistakes.

False prophets are ALWAYS unbelievers who want YOU to be an unbeliever also.

I agree that false prophets are unbelievers, but they will appear as Christians. Matthew 7:15-23 gives a description of false prophets and they appeared to be genuine Christians, even going so far as to say "but look at the many works we did in your name" *(my interpretation).

Thing is they were not Christians, because Jesus told them "I never knew you." Regardless of their claims, they were not believers.

I was forwarded this video by a friend and would like some WoF to way in on the issue. Brief summary is Todd Freil (the host of a TV show called Wretched on the Family Network) commenting on Pastor Dayna (the woman in the vid) as she prophesies over a man from the audience (who happens to be an assistant pastor from a church across the street from her tent). Would like your opinions on this ...
IMO, Todd Freil's beliefs are more like those of Hank Hanegraaff , the Bible Answer Man. Todd Freil is not of the WoF persuasion and would be considered a cessationist by WoF believers. Many WoF believers wonder how these apparently very knowledgeable men of the Bible can have such a seemingly blind spot to anything supernatural, even True Supernatural giftings during this Latter Day Reign.

If nothing else examples like this should always be a gut check reminder for us that we never put our faith in any denominational theology imputed/mixed with man's intellectual reasoning above that of God's infallible Word as enlightened by the Holy Spirit to Believers that are abiding in His Love.

I am not surprised that this sort of behavior shows up in a church service. We see heresy hunters here ruin threads and "heckle" other Christians.
What do you expect from the unruly and rude?

A WoF Believer who knows anything about Todd Friel knows that he has been one of the most outspoken of cessationists for almost twenty years. I first heard him on KTIS Christian radio (Mpls/St.Paul).

Even with a Supernatural anointing the emotion/mind can sometimes get in the way of the Best Intentions of the Holy Spirit. What was meant for good by Pastor Dayna may have begun with the prompting of the Holy Spirit and then become mixed with what she thought was her best well-intentioned agenda for that meeting.

Friel's agenda has always been to use audio and video snippets (many out of context/edited) to find reason to critize, ridicule and refute any movement or individual advancing the Kingdom of God that believes signs, wonders and miracles (Supernatural gifts/anointings) are for today's born again followers of Jesus Christ.

Amen, we all realize there are fakes and snake oil salesmen out there, but it's not for us to judge them God will and sometimes quickly. I try my best to live in the teaching of Romans chapter 2 but I fall short at times and find that I judge as well. But there is a difference when someone realizes their fault, some attack every thing that is not of there opinion. They belive they are fighting the good fight for God, problem is all to often they are killing our own troops.
